Peacefully at the SAH – General Site on Wednesday, December 20, 2006. Mrs. Patricia Bird at the age of 67 years. Beloved mother of late Gail Dennis (Paul), Marianne Forget (Laura), Sharron Bertrand (Normand), Peggy Dubois (Thomas), Jamie Bourck (Kathy) and Sean Inkster (Trudy). Dear grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 1. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, December 22, 2006 from 11 am until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1 pm. Interment Goulais Mission Cemetery. Donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated by the family.

At her home in Birr, Ontario surrounded by her loving family and friends, Marylyn R. (Hill) Carrière, formerly of Sault Ste. Marie, in the arms of her loving husband René, on Monday, December 18, 2006 in her 60th year. Proud and loving mother of their son Jeromy and his special wife Jeannie of Boston. Doting Grammie of Julia and Nathan. Dear sister-in-law of Lillianne and Doug King, Pauline Mykulak and Claude and Kelly Carrière all of Thunder Bay. Missed by cousins Dr. Charles and Jeanne Smith of England and Irja and Art Dewar and Harold Salminen all of Sault. Ste. Marie. Also missed by several nieces and nephews. Cherished lifelong friend of Brian Middleton and his special partner Carl McLuhan of British Columbia, very dearest friend of Frank and Mary Ianni of Sault Ste. Marie, buddy and confidant of Sherri Jo King of England and special new friend of Terry and Eileen Horth of Birr. Predeceased by her parents Lily and Ernie Hill and her mother and father-in-law Jeanne and Archille Carrière. Friends may call at St. John the Divine Anglican Church, Arva from 11:30 AM until the time of a memorial service which will be held on Saturday, January 6th at 1 PM with The Rev. passed away suddenly at the age of 49 years on Saturday, December 16, 2006. Beloved daughter of Marie Duguay and the late Philbert Duguay. Mother of Laura and Tina Bradley. Father of her daughters Ray Bradley. Sister of Victor Duguay (Valerie), Lucille Hendry (Jim), Alice Pentrice (Doug), Theresa Barill, Gerald Duguay (Karen), Harold Duguay (Donna) and Alfred Duguay (Josie). Survived also by many nieces and nephews, in-laws and friends. She will be sadly missed by all. Family and friends are invited to call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, December 21, 2006 from 6 – 9 pm. Women of the Moose are requested to gather at 7:15 pm. Those wishing to attend the Funeral Mass will gather at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church on Friday, December 22, 2006 at 9:30 am with Father Michael Williams officiating. Loving father of Luciano (Yen), Stefano (Ezia) and Marco Finateri. Most cherished nonno of Stefanie (Kelly), Christina, Matthew, Jessica and Jennifer Finateri. Son of the late Aniceto and Margherita Finateri. Brother of the late Edovigie Dantini (late Francesco), late Marietta Palazzi (late Domenico), late Nannina Stracoualursi (late Nicola), late Gina Mancia (late Marino), late Domenico Finateri (Rossana) of Italy, late Americo Finateri (late Emma) of Sault Ste. Marie, Dante Finateri (Nina), Arduino Finateri (Concetta), Giuseppe Finateri (Maria) and Mario Finateri (Ana) of Sault Ste. Marie. Brother-in-law of Umberto Mortari (Marisa). Giulio will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. He will always be remembered for his positive outlook on life and his sense of humour. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service in the Chapel on Friday, December 22, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with Monsignor Victor Amadio officiating. Special grandma of Michael Boston (Anna), Randy Boston (Melinda) and B.J. Gallagher (Ron). Great grandmother of Erica, Alyssa, Gregory, Matthew, Kathleen and Tyler.
