Dorothy Ellen Roth, 79, formerly of Cambridge and Tavistock passed away at Forest Heights Long Term Care Centre, Kitchener on Saturday, February 9, 2002. She was born at Toronto on June 15, 1922, a daughter of the late Frederick Anderson and the former Dorothy Stewart. She married William Roth at New Hamburg on March 10, 1939. He predeceased her on October 19, 1979. She was also predeceased by her sons Milton Roth and Eugene Roth; her daughter and son-in-law Veronica and Victor Lindsay; her sister Ruth Burnett and her brothersin-law Gerald O Shaughnessy and Claude Glasford and some members of her husband s family. James Peter Jamie Louwagie, infant son of Peter and Sharon (Feltz) Louwagie passed away at Stratford General Hospital on Friday, April 5, 2002. Suddenly on Sunday, June 9, 2002 at St. Mary s Hospital, Kitchener. Laverne Louis Paff of RR 1 Gadshill. Laverne was born in Perth East 76 years ago, son of the late Melvin Paff and the late Pearletta Daub. He was a member of the Wellesley Alliance Church and farmed in North Easthope Township from 1949 to 2002. Beloved husband of Margaret E. Hesse whom he married in Stratford, September 16, 1950. Raymond Edward Whaling, 59, of St. Marys and formerly of Gadshill, passed away suddenly at his residence on Sunday, February 23, 2003. He was born in Ellice Township, August 5, 1943, a son of the late Edward and Iona Whaling and had lived in the Stratford area most of his life. Ray had a love for trucking, in which he worked for the past 26 years, most recently with Verspeeten Cartage Limited as a team driver with his wife Marlene. He was a member of Word of His Power Faith Fellowship, London. Beloved husband of 40 years of Marlene (Doell). Loving father of Cheryl Bart and husband Ron, Kevin Whaling and wife Jennifer, Debbie Matthews, Tammy Davis and friend Pete Rosenberg. Jean Ellen Yundt
After a long and courageous battle with emphysema, Jean Ellen Yundt, age 78, of 289 Water Street, Stratford passed away at the Stratford General Hospital on Monday, February 16, 2004. Born in Humberstone Township, she was the daughter of the late Leonard McGillivray and the former Mary McIntosh. She served her country in its time of need during the Second World War in the Royal Canadian Air Force. She was a member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #8. She was predeceased by her husband Eric Yundt, co-founder and president of Yundt Brothers Construction. She is survived by her children Donald Yundt of Stratford, Marilyn Yundt of Toronto, Debra Yundt of Stratford and Karen Roberts and friend Owen Switzer of Stratford.
