Peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at the age of 76 years. Loving husband of Rosa for 53 years. Dear father of Maria Pace (John), Teresa LaMontagna (Ray) and Enza Barone (Joe). Loving nonno of Anthony Pace, Cristina Pace (Anthony Martone), Franca Pace (Matthew Chaimbrone), Matthew and Andrew LaMontagna and Adam Barone. Dear brother of the late Domenica Ventura (Nicola) of Italy and Angelo Chiarelli (Nina) of St. Catharines. Dear brother-in-law of Filomena Pace (Nicola) of Italy. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral mass at St. Veronica's Church on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Ron Ambeault officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations made to the Elk's Oncology Van or Algoma Residential Community Hospice (A.R.C.H.) would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to Dr. Keith, primary nurse Sheila, all nurses in the Algoma Regional Cancer Unit and Medical Daycare, Dr. R.Wytsma who took care of Dad as a family physician and until the end. Dear husband of the late Alice Earla (nee Friar).. Dear father of Judith Brooks, Reg Ralph (Carol), Kirk Ralph (Kay) and Paige Gordier (David). Proud grandfather of Kevin Brooks, Kelly Ranni (Mike), John and Tamara MacDonald, Aaron, Allan and Justin Ralph, Adam, Nancy and Billy Ralph, Andrew, Danial, Michael and Heather Gordier. Delighted great grandfather of Kimberly Brooks, Kyran Parker and Kassandra Ranni. Son of Flora Ralph and the late Reginald Charles Ralph. Brother of Marie Warner (late Wally), Jack (Joyce), the late Patricia, Betty Aldrich (late Frank), Earl, (Dorethy), Robert (Jean), Joseph, Leo and David (Ruth). Brother-in-law of Helen Newman (late Russ), Edith Larue (late Jack), Robert (late Elma and Helen) and the late Mildred Rosenberg (late Don). Chuck will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Chuck will also be sadly missed by his many close friends at Clear Lake Camps where he spent his summers and Panama City Beach, Florida where he spent his winters. Daughter of the late John and Jennie Derkach. Sister of Edward (Anne), Lillian Steichuk (Mike), Mary Pszeniczny (late John) and Sylvia Carpenter (Albert). Special aunt of John Pszeniczny (Rhonda), Christine Prpich (late Mark), John Derkach (Kim), Dan Derkach (Karen), Maria Derkach (Raymond) and Eddie Derkach. Special great aunt of Kimberley Prpich, Michelle Pszeniczny, Ashley Pszeniczny, Victoria Derkach, Troy Derkach, Alexander Derkach and Trent Derkach. Special cousin to many. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews.
