(1934~2007) Peacefully at the SAH Oncology Unit on Thursday, January 11, 2007. Beloved husband of Carole (nee Barker) for 45 years. Much loved and cherished father of Jennifer Parton and her husband Sandy Ewing. Adored “Poppa” of Sydney Shelagh Ewing. Dear son of the late William and Gertrude Parton and loved son in law of the late John and Dorothy Barker. Survived by his brother Gordon (Phyllis) and sister Betty Roncato (Enzo). Bill will be sorely missed by his brother in law Ralph W. Barker (Anna) and sister in law Beverly Barcis (Paul). He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. After a short but courageous battle with cancer, died peacefully with family and friends by his side at the age of 66, on Friday, January 12, 2007. Survived by wife, Judy of 38 years, and loving daughter Nadia. Also survived by his mother Gina Salvatori of Haliburton; sister, Eva Cresswell of Newmarket. Loyal brother-in-law to Anne King and Adeline Olsson both of Sault Ste. Marie; John Mikus, Terrace Bay; Saara Mickusz, Wawa; Connie Micus, Kanata; Ann-Marie Mikus, Sudbury and Irene Mikus, White River. Remembered by many nieces and nephews who will all miss him greatly.
