McMILLAN, Keith Myles

Peacefully passed away with his family by his side at the age of 57, on Monday, January 8, 2007. Keith is survived by his loving wife Anna of 31 years, and by his two children Darren and Stephanie. Son of the late Noble and Margaret McMillan (Cartmill). Dear brother of Barry McMillan (Debbie) and Marsha Hemy (Ron). Brother-in-law of Teresa Edward (Charlie), Jim McDonald (Maureen), Maggie Bello (Nate) and Helen McDonald. Loving uncle to nine nieces and nephews and great uncle of eight. Keith was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by many friends and relatives. Friends may call at Arthur’s Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Saturday, January 13, 2007 from 12 pm until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2 pm. Rev. Hamish Currie officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 7, 2007 at Pathways Retirement Residence in her 80th year. Predeceased by her husband Herbert (May 12, 2006). Survived by her loving son Ranald "Randy" and his wife Donna. Dear grandmother of Keri. Daughter of the late Henry and Hannah Elliot. Sister of the late Bruce, late Kent (Norma), June Denton (late Jack), late Jean, late Rae Shelp (late Earl), Elva Wreggitt (late Everett), Doris Kocot (Alex), Murray (Claudette), Ross (Eileen) and the late Lee (late Laura). Doreen will be fondly remembered by her special friends Doreen Lacelle of Sault Ste. Marie, Vida Digulla and many nieces and nephews. Peacefully at home on Sunday, January 07, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Matteo Fasanello. Loving mother of seven children: Howard Fasanello (Betty), Loretta DeLonghi, John (predeceased 1980), Mary (predeceased 2001), Joseph (predeceased 1985), Ezio (predeceased 2005) and Irene (predeceased 2001). Grandmother of 21: Donna (Dan), Judy (Steve), Connie, Renee, Sharon, Sheila, Jolene, Jimmy, Howard, Rob, Lori (Rick), Vicci (Bob), Eddie (Jacqueline), Wally (Greshenda), Wanda (Tony), Joanne (Spencer), Greta (Guntis), Roma (Peter), Joseph (Kim), late Sandra and the late Howard Jr. Great grandmother of 28 and great great grandmother of 6. Born Concetta Immaculata Travolo in Fegline Vigliature, Cosenza, Italy, on Dec. 8, 1897, to Rose Aceti and Guy Travolo, Connie had seven brothers and sisters who have predeceased her, Frank, John, Louie, Joe, Caterina, Filomena and Fortunata. She immigrated to Canada aboard the Princess Irene, departing from Naples and arriving February 11, 1914. She was later married in Sherbrooke, Québec, to Matteo Fasanello, who had emigrated from Pesuco, Foggia, Italy, on the Luisiana, leaving Naples and arriving September 11, 1908, at the age of 18. Connie and Matteo later resided and raised their family on James Street in Sault Ste. Marie’s West End. Matteo died in 1972. Later Connie was a long-time resident in the seniors apartments at 588 Albert Street West. Her door was always open and she welcomed and loved to feed and talk with her many friends. On Mother’s Day in 1980, at a party organized by Eric Alessandrini, Mama Connie was honoured by 45 of “her boys,” among them a judge, a mayor, a fire chief, and restaurant owner, who had all eaten at her home over the years growing up in the West End, told her their problems and loved her. She danced with every man in the room that night. She spent her final years tenderly cared for in the home of her youngest daughter Loretta. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 from 6-9 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated from Blessed Sacrament on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at 10 am. Rev. Eric Pannike officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Cherished mother of Robert, Edward (late Joyce, late Maureen), David (Shirley), Dolores Constant (late Lawrence), Anne Marie, Gerard, late Daniel, Catherine Porter, Howard (Shirley), Christopher (Denise) and Edmond. Loretta will be remembered by her special daughters and son-in-laws Margaret, Patricia, Susan, Ronald, Eva, Bonnie, Karen, Ron and the late Jane. Very proud grandmother of 30 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Antoinette Chaput, late Eva Chaput, late Josephine Hanson (late Anthony), late Joseph Chaput (Lauretta) and the late Paul Chaput (Madeline). Sister-law of Noel Dupuis, Ida May Amadio and predeceased by her many sisters and brother-in-laws. Loretta will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. In the loving arms of her two daughters; Cindy and Kim regretfully announce the passing of their beloved mother and best friend on Thursday, January 4, 2007 in her 87th year. Predeceased by her husband Howard of 46 years and parents Mortimer and Margaret Wellings. Born in Ruthilda, Saskatchewan and raised on a farm in Saskatoon in 1920, Mina is survived by sisters Ruby Crawford, Rita McGrath, Nora Benolkin and Bertha Ellis. Also survived by brothers Ron, Gord, Ken and Len Wellings. Predeceased by sisters Elizann, Clara and Marie and brothers George, Herb, Clifford, Roy and Eddie Wellings. A cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 from 11:30 a.m. until time of memorial service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Ian Johnston officiating. Memorial donations made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or Sault Area Hospital Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated by the family. Thank you to Drs. Dear grandmother of 11, Great grandmother of 7 and Great Great grandmother of 2. Sister of Edith Kent (Harold), Dorothy Wigmore (Stan) and predeceased by her sister Grace Hollingsworth (late Lloyd) and her brothers Jack (late Ella), Herb (late Helen), Al (Edith), Ross and Roy. Sister-in-law of Leonard Barton (late Faye) and predeceased by Tom Barton (Deirdre), Frances Bishop (late Roy) and Jim. Remembered by her many nieces and nephews. A private family service was held on Saturday, January 6, 2007. Mr. Bruce Cain officiated. Interment took place at the Mountain Cemetery, St. Joseph Island. Denise passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, January 4, 2007. A beautiful person known as “Gram” was sent to continue her duty as an angel. She blessed and cared for anyone she came into contact with and will constantly be remembered for her vibrant personality. She leaves behind her two children Don Gorges (Lynda) and Michelle Duggan (Pat). “Gram” lived for her five grandchildren Chris, Shanna and Dayna Duggan, Max and Davis Gorges. She was predeceased by her husband John and her parents Irene and Edgar Bessette. Denise was a special sister to Yolande Carey (late Jack), Lucille LaBossiere (Jerry), Marcel Bessette (Gloria) and Gerry Bessette (Elsie). She will be fondly remembered as a special Sister-in-law and Aunt to many. Denise cherished the great friendships she made with her “special friends.” As a giving person, “Gram” dedicated over twenty years to the Sault Area Hospital as a volunteer. A very special thanks goes to Dr. Walde for his hard work and dedication. His efforts blessed us with twenty extra unforgettable years to spend with our grandma. Dr. Spadafora, other doctors and staff at the Cancer Clinic who helped Denise throughout her life, we thank you. A big hug also goes to the incredible ladies in the Palliative Care Unit. Their constant aid and kind hearts showed how caring of a group they are. We have all been so fortunate and blessed to have someone as special as Denise in our lives. “Gram” will constantly be loved and missed and never forgotten. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Precious Blood Cathedral on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at 11 am. Rt. Rev. Bernard Burns officiating. Inurnment Greenwood Cemetery Urn Garden. passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at the age of 54 after a brief courageous battle with cancer. Much loved and cherished husband of Cheryl. Loved son of the late Ernest and Eleanor Ball. Precious father and best pal of Adam and newly found daughter Jaime (Mike). Grandfather of Talon. Beloved brother and best friend of Anna. Much loved son-in-law and buddy of Margaret McCormack. Cherished nephew of Kathleen Moore, Carl Edwardson and Leona Buchanan. Adored cousin of Barry, Marg and Sean Sullivan. Dear brother-in-law of Lynn Macfarlane (late Brian), Norman Dagenais (Soili) and David Dagenais (Christine). Loved uncle of Shauna Profoehr, Derek, Aaron and Lindsay Dagenais. Great-uncle of Madison and Matthias. Respected employer of Kate Reed. Greatly admired by many cousins and friends. Jim will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by many longtime business acquaintances.
