Peacefully at the SAH, General Site on Thursday, January 4, 2007 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of Elmer for 58 years. Loving mother of Margaret Ann Waugh, late Brian Merini and the late Jamie Merini (Diane). Cherished grandmother of Bill Waugh (Jaana) and Jordyn Merini. Dear sister of Sonny Leybourne (Dolly), Ann Fish, Willa Atkinson (Phillip), late Bobby Leybourne (Pat), late Ina Savankoff (late John) and the late Henrietta Munus. Sister in law to Edo Merini (late Ella). Betty will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Saturday, January 6, 2007 from 12 pm until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2 pm. Rev. Phil Miller officiating. Dear brother of Colleen (Larry), Ian (Shaun), Shari (Randy), Darren (Julie) and the late Andy. Cousin of Arden, Pat, Dan and many others. Uncle of Brett, Matt, Johnathan, Wilson, Nate, Sara, Hannah and Dean. Tom was loved and will be deeply missed by many more friends and relatives. Dear grandmother of Leah and her second grandchild soon to be born. Beloved daughter of Bertha Rogers and the late Stanley Rogers. Dear sister of Joan Hodge (Fred), Kitty McLeod (Norm), Marge Baker (Earle), Muriel Darch (late Ken), Donny Rogers and the late Irene Rogers. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends. Cherished grandmother of Mike (Sheila), Mark (Anna), Janine Heath (Damian) and Pam MacIntosh (Jim). Loving great grandma of Allison, Jennifer, Brock , Braeden and Emma. Dear sister of Pearl Harris (late Bill), late Elva Clargo (late Roy) and Dorothy Fletcher (Victor). Predeceased by her parents John and Eva Jane Bedford. Friends may call at St. John the Evangelist Church (136 John Street) on Friday, January 5, 2007 from 1:00 p.m. until time of Memorial Service in the church at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Wayne Putman officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. A time of fellowship will follow the interment in the church hall. Memorial donations made to St. John the Evangelist Church would be appeciated by the family. Mother of Jessie Hickingbottom (late Floyd), Sharon Robertson (Don), Gary Dunlop (Lise), Randy, Grant, Julian, Wendy, Wanda Maione (Frank) and the late Angus and Jacqueline. Grandmother of 22 and great grandmother of 15. Sister of Ella Lehman (late Hewson) and predeceased by Tom, Bill, Francis, Charlie, Art, Amelia, Elva, Matilda and Edward. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Sally was recognized with the 1992 “Heart of the Sault” Award. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, January 5, 2007 from 1 pm until time of service in the chapel at 3 pm. Rev. Bruce McLeish officiating. Brother of Mabel Beharriell (Burns), late Ina Fallu (late Eli), late Ruth Currie (late Mansel) and the late Stanley Montgomery. Brother- in-law of Gladys Johnston (late Bob) of Northern Ireland, Doris Warby (John) of Cornwall, England, Allan Wright (late June), John Wright (Ann) of Toronto, late Maud Morgan (late Bill) of Wales and the late Wilson Wright, late Jim Wright (Emily), late Oliver Wright (Doreen) and late Jean Glazer (late Abraham) all of Northern Ireland.
