Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital - Plummer Site on Thursday, December 5, 2008 at the age of 64. Loving mother of Bethany Brown. Predeceased by her parents William and Ruth. Dear sister of Norma Jensen (Bill), late Donald Brown and the late JoAnne Fox (Don). Aunt of Lisa, Susan, RuthE, Peter, Cindy, Christopher, Steven and Douglas. She will be dearly missed by many friends. Brenda was very physically active, her interests were yoga and her religions. She also volunteered for many organizations including the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Friends may call at Chapple Heights (55 Chapple St.) on Wednesday, December 20, 2008 for a memorial service at 3 pm. Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Monday, December 8, 2008 at the age of 67. Beloved wife of Jules for 47 years. Loving mother of Gary (Chantal). Dear grandmother of Kyle. Sister of Vernon Doucet (Viola), Louis Doucet (Connie), Armand Doucet (Pamela), Colette Cormier (Maurice) and the late Leola Allard (Bert) and the late Armande Cliché (Andre). Sister-in-law of Leo Cormier (Darlene) and Lise Soffice (John). Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 from 6-9 pm. Funeral service in the chapel on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 2 pm. Rev. Eric Pannike officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations to Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) would be appreciated by the family. World War Two Veteran, long time farmer in Dayton, and more recently of Iron Bridge, in his 89th year. Ted is survived by his wife Edith, children Lin (Loretta), Keith (late June) and Susan, as well as grand children Kimberly, Sarah, Anthony, Stephen, and Samuel. He is also survived by his brother Joseph (June) and brothers in law Tony Barrow (Nonie), Mervyn Whitfield, and sister in law Elsie Woods. He was pre deceased by his wife of 45 years Joan, and son Steven. Sisters Mary Runnels, Susan Runnels, Caroline Lane, and Jean Whitfield, brothers Charles and Kerwood. Ted was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews and their families. He will also be missed by the many friends and neighbours for whom he generously gave of himself. Resting at the Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon where friends may call on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 from 7-9pm. Funeral service at the Thessalon Church of Christ on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at 10am. Spring interment to be held at Carlyle Cemetery, Iron Bridge. Donations to a charity of your choice gratefully accepted.

Of Hornepayne, Ontario formally from Sault Ste. Marie. Taken so tragically while working on the rails in Hillsport. Beloved soul mate of Karen Johnson of Hornepayne. Very special Father and best friend of Brianna Best Paradis. Dearest son of the late Jean Paul and Yvette Paradis. Youngest brother of Brenda Willoughby (Bill), Denise Sadowski (Fred), the late Rejeanne Halonen, Helene Barnes (Albert), Reg (Debbie), Claude and Bob (Debbie) Paradis. It is with heavy hearts his many nieces and nephews will miss him terribly. Terry was employed with CN and formally A.C.R. for many years. He loved his job and especially his CN family, particularly his track gangs from all over. "Chico" a name given to Terry by the track gang was well known from Sault Ste. Marie up the rail line to Hearst, Ontario. Terry will now take his final train ride to heaven to be reunited with his Mom, Dad and sister. Those who ever knew or just met Terry will have one funny story or another to tell. He was so full of adventure and mystery. He was "unique" and so full of life. His passions were hunting and fishing and he will be missed by those friends who had the opportunity to share those moments with him. He absolutely adored his daughter and loved their special times together, they shared a wonderful life. After transferring to Hornepayne, Terry met and fell in love with his life partner Karen who will miss him beyond words. Terry was so loved by his brothers and sisters who took him into their arms and cared for him after the passing of his parents. Terry take all our love and memories and put them in a box and keep them with you always. Special sister of Jim (Madelaine), Eilleen, Geraldene (late Jerry) and Kevin (Yvette). Sister-in-law of Roy (Bernie), Jim (Debbie), Jane (Sak) and Kathy (Jeff). Daughter-in-law of Evelyn (late John). She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and good friends. Pat had a zest for life and touched everyone she met with her kindness and her smile.
