Peacefully at St. Marys Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, December 9, 2003. Evelyn M. (Flake) Tobin of Jones Street East, St. Marys. Beloved wife of the late Norman V. (Norm) Tobin (2001). Loving mother of Judy Tobin of St. Marys. Proud grandmother of Meghan Tobin O Drowsky, Theresa O. and her husband Byung-Nam, Samantha and Ryan Ullyot. Predeceased by a daughter Sharron Tobin (1999), brothers James Flake and his wife Vera, Charles Flake and wife Mary Ellen, Bud Flake and wife Ferne. A service to celebrate her life will be held at Holy Name of Mary Church in St. Marys on Friday, December 12, 2003 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Chris Bourdeau officiating. Burial of the cremains will follow in St. Marys cemetery. Mr. Lawrence Peter Seebach, 87, a resident of Hillside Manor Nursing Home, RR 5 Stratford passed away at his residence on Tuesday, February 10, 2004. Dear brother of Gordon Seebach and wife Arnetta of New Hamburg; dear brother-in-law of Rose Pletsch of Stratford; dear uncle of Bob (Victoria) Seebach of New Hamburg, Elizabeth Shantz of Belleville, Dennis (Noella) Seebach of Kanata, Paul (Marilyn) Seebach of Clinton, John (Christine) Seebach of Welland, Charles (Janet) Seebach of New Hamburg and their families. Predeceased by his parents Ezra and Minnie (Koehler) Seebach and a brother Wilfred Seebach. Lawrence was a great- grandson of Andrew and Eva Seebach who were the first settlers of Seebach s Hill. Mrs. Beverly Mae Stewart, age 83, formerly of 122 Dufferin Street, Stratford passed away peacefully at the Hillside Nursing Home, RR 5 Stratford on Tuesday, January 1, 2002. Born in Stratford, she was the daughter of the late John Alfred Hill and the former Nellie Browning. She had lived all her life in Stratford and was a member of St. Paul s Anglican Church. She was predeceased by her husband Albert James Stewart on October 4, 1978. Loving mother of Jim Stewart and his wife Kim, Orangeville, Joan Moorehead and her husband Roger and Judy Purcell and her husband Francis, all of Stratford. Peacefully to her eternal home on Tuesday, February 5, 2002 at her home in Wellesley Eileen Caroline (Pehlke) Stroh was born in Elma Township 78 years ago. Daughter of the late Edward Pehlke and the late Louise Schmidt. Eileen was an avid quilter, and a faithful member of St. Mark s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wellesley. She was very active in the ELW of St. Mark s and volunteered for many local organizations. Beloved wife of Henry (Harry) Stroh of Wellesley for 45 years. Herbert Hatch
Herbert Hatch, a resident of People Care, 198 Mornington Street, Stratford and formerly of 29 Arden Park, Stratford passed away at his residence on Monday, February 24, 2003, in his 86th year. Born in Stratford, he was a son of the late Robert Hatch and the former Mary Elizabeth Hatch. He had been employed at Kroehler Manufacturing Company for 44 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of St. Paul s Anglican Church, Stratford. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 8 Stratford, the Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans Association, Stratford Branch, Unit 261, 4th RCR. Sergeants Mess and a member of the Perth Regiment and was a commanding officer of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets. He had served overseas during the Second World War. Beloved husband of Joan Mary (Cottingham) Hatch who predeceased him on October 27, 1994. Dear father of Christopher Hatch of Stratford. Also survived by a sister-in-law Eleanor Hatch of Stratford, a brother-in-law Kitch Manning of London and several nieces and nephews including Helen Harmer and husband Ken of Stratford.
