Surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at the proud age of 80. Dear husband of Marion (nee Elliott) for 53 years. Devoted father of Sheila (Larry Ricard), Laurie (Ken Green), Allison (Michel Dufour) and the late Davey (1989). Loving papa of Alexander and Julie Ricard, Thomas and James Green, Christopher, Carly and Angela Dufour. Brother of William (late Margaret), Kathleen McMaster (John) and Patricia Speer (Henry). Brother-in-law of Stan, Carol, Brian, the late Ron and Shirley. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Many thanks to the staff at the FJ Davey Home and the Great Northern Nursing Centre. Family and friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Saturday, October 18, 2008 from 10 am until time of memorial service in the chapel at 12 pm. Rev. Phil Miller officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Algoma Public Health Infant Development Fund would be appreciated by the family.

“Slipped away” peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital (General Site) on Friday, October 10, 2008. Murray was the best friend and companion of Sharon Uschenko. Devoted loving husband of the late Phyllis. He was the beloved father of Cathy Martin (Charlie), Claudia Wade (Terry) and Shelley Hodgkinson (Rob). “Perfect” generous grandfather of Conni Sugden (Michael), Morgan Wade (Nancy), Maya Scott (Chris), Cliffe Hodgkinson (Sharon), Maureen Renaud (Nicholas) and the proud great grandpa of a dozen. Murray leaves behind many dear friends including Johnny Uschenko and family, Andy Uschenko and family and Sheila Whiteway and family. Murray was a legion member for many years. A private funeral service was held at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. Memorial donations may be made to the Sault Area Hospital whose staff on 5th, 2nd and 3rd as well as the emergency room cared so well for Murray these past several months. Many thanks to Veteran’s Affairs and CNIB for their generous support.

Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital – Plummer Site on Tuesday, October 14, 2008, in his 77th year. Husband of Jean. Proud Dad to Deb (Charles Zakaib) of Toronto, Jack (Lori) of Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Warren (Carol) of Richmond, Ontario. Adopted Dad of Leo and Cheryl Kment. Cherished Grandpa of Susan and Scott Zakaib, Leslie and Robert Gallagher, and Davis and Camryn Gallagher. Adopted Grandpa to Brian, Jacob and Matthew Kment. Bud is the son of the late Jack and Margaret Gallagher, brother of the late John Gallagher (late Martha), late Monica Barbeau (late Lloyd), late Jim Gallagher (Anne), late Art Gallagher (Frances), Donna Niemi (late Ralph Barbeau) (Leo), June Nanne (late Terry), and Bunny Antonello (Enzo). Brother-in-law to Elsie Stevens (late Harold), Harold and Edith Kent, Leona and Ernie Read, Jo and Gord Rains, and Fred and Joy Kent. Bud will be greatly missed by his coffee buddies in the Flunky Gang. The family would like to thank Dr. Louis O’Brien, Dr. G Berg, and the excellent staff of 200Y General Hospital and palliative care in the Plummer. Daughter of the late Alfonso and Elena Aceti. Daughter-in-law of Cesare and Francesca Bennardo. Sister of Maria Sdao (Antonio), Frances Nevilles of Toronto, Italo (Trudy) and Robert (Gina). Sister-in-law of Marcel Bennardo and Steven Bennardo (Debbie). Survived by many nieces and nephews and special great aunt to Sofia. Special friend to many. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Thursday, October 16, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Joseph the Worker Church at 1:30 p.m. with Reverend Boguslaw Jaroszek officiating. (October 10, 1938 - October 12, 2008) Peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, October 12, 2008 at the Sault Area Hospital (General Site). The angels came to take our Momma home. In Mom's 70th year the Lord decided it was time for Esther to join Him. The gates of Heaven have opened...no more suffering. Esther will be dearly missed by her one true love James Biron of 53 years. Forever and always in our memories her children - Jimmy (Cathy), Valerie Walls (Gary), Sharlene Tatasciore (Dennis), Arla and Ronnie (Jennifer). Loving grandmother of Myomie, Madelyn, Jason, Christopher, Trisha, Allan, Michael, Thomas, Ashley, Cody, A.J., Arla, Aeriel, Adam and Anna. Great grandmother of Maliyah, Drew, Jack and Cameron. Also survived by her brothers and sisters Frank Cole (Elma), Ronnie Hazzard (Janice), Doug Hazzard (Nancy), late Bobby Cole, Bernice Cole (Joe Guindon), Patsy Lanigan, Edna Reid (Bob) and the late Elvena Goodrich. Esther will be sadly missed by many friends and family. At Esther's request a "Celebration of Her Life" will be held at the family home (32 Main Street, Desbarats, Ontario) on Thursday, October 16, 2008 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Donations made to the family would be appreciated. Peacefully at the Plummer Hospital with his family by his side on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Gwen. Loving father of Linda Warren (George), Debbie Larocque (Jeff), Sherry Densmore, Colleen Hochgeschurz (Eric) and Daren Weeks (Suzanne). His 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren will greatly miss their loving Papa and Grandpa. Dear brother of Sylvia Whalen (late Lorne), Eileen Colynuck (late Gene), Oris Selkirk (Bob), Pat Psihogios (Lynn) and predeceased by Rose Kelly (late Ted), Francis McCarthy (Vera) and Max McCarthy (Mae). Floyd will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and many fellow parishioners at Blessed Sacrament Church. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, October 16, 2008 from 6-9 pm and again at Blessed Sacrament Church on Friday, October 17, 2008 from 11:30 am until time of funeral mass at 1 pm.
