After a courageous battle with cancer Marian passed away peacefully in her own home on Friday, September 12, 2008 at the age of 61. Much loved wife and best friend of Keith for 40 years. Loving mom of Leanne, Tara, Jodi and Brad. Much loved grandma of Matthew, Curtis and Jesse. Dear daughter of Jean Sharp and the late Reg Hay. Cherished sister of Bill and Debbie Hay. Special aunt of Shawn Petrucha (Jack) and beloved grandma smoocher to Kenna. Marian touched the lives of many special children and students throughout the years with her unwavering dedication and she will be sadly missed by many. Peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 10th, 2008. Dolores DeCoff at 72 years of age. Beloved wife of Fred DeCoff. Loving mother of Kathy Comeau (Gord Baker), Bruce DeCoff (Ada) and Wayne DeCoff (Stacey). Lovingly remembered by her grandson Jesse. Loving sister of Gordie Bovingdon. Predeceased by her parents Gordon and Alvina. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and friends. Grandfather of Aleigha, Lieron, Linnea and the late Arianne. Dear friend of Trudy Grawbarger. Son of the late Harry and Florence Burfield. Brother of Donna and Gail. Son-in-law of Verna and Chester Kuryliw. Brother-in-law of Linda and Jack Cureatz, Randy Fournier, Marilyn and William Burnes, Karen and Ron Dumoulin, Dan and Tammy Fournier. Skip will be sadly missed by the Grawbarger family. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Skip will always be remembered for his love of all sports; especially the Soo Greyhounds and the pride he had for his son Ryan who recently joined the Soo Thunderbirds Hockey Club. In his retirement years he drove the Para Bus for A.J. Bus Lines and he will be remembered and sadly missed by the many children he drove over the years. March 28, 1955 to September 11, 2008 passed away at the Sault Area Hospital - Plummer Site on Thursday, September 11, 2008. Beloved wife of 34 years to Giovanni 'John' Misasi. Loving mother of Sandra Pigeau (David), Silvia DeCarlo (Jeff) and Anthony Misasi. Proud grandmother of Alex and Madelyn. Dear daughter of Settimia and the late Carmine Lepore. Sister of Joseph Lepore, Rosina Buffone (Severino) and Marisa Lepore. Daughter-in-law of the late Domenico and Rosaria Misasi of Italy. Sister-in-law of Rita Turco (Salvatore), Gina Sara (Mario) all of Toronto, Natale Misasi (Lina) of Sault Ste. Marie, Filomena Turco (Michele), Antonio Misasi (Ida), Aldo Misasi (Filomena) and Franca Turco (Carmine) all of Italy. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Gina considered it a privilege to have served this community for 28 years (1975 to 2003) in her career of Medical Laboratory Technology at the Sault Area Hospitals. She did so with great passion and commitment. (1933-2008) - passed away peacefully at the Plummer Memorial Hospital with family and close friends by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Tuesday, September 9, 2008. Lena will be missed by her loving husband Domenic of 53 years. Dear mother of Antonio of Toronto and Assunta Draper (Dan) of Sudbury. The love of her life was her grandson Paul whom she enjoyed making all his favourite foods. Predeceased by both of her parents Giuseppe and Barbara Manza. Lena is also survived by 4 sisters in Toronto. (1933-2008) - After a lengthy illness, Paul died peacefully with his family at his side on Monday, September 8, 2008. Beloved husband and best friend of Jessie. He was the love of her life. Loving father of Paula Hooper (Tom) and Nancy Wissell (Wayne). Proud grandfather of Meagan Anning (T.J. Robinson), Lindsay Spina (Sonny) and Alicia Anning. Special great 'Grandpa Paul' to Gabriel Paul Anning and Ella Robinson. Survived by his sisters Gilberte Lamothe (late Leo), Geraldine Malcolm (late Stewart), Theresa Daigle (Fernand) and his brother Maurice (late Theresa). He was pre deceased by his sisters Rita Gauthier (Gerald) and Jean Noel (late Jacques). Brother-in-law and dearest friend of Betty Owen (late Bob), Roberta and George Miller, Nancy and Dennis Durocher and Jimmy Innes (late Hetty). He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Paul retired from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Force in 1988 with the rank of Detective Sergeant. He was an avid outdoorsman, gardener and self taught musician. At Paul's request, cremation has taken place.
