Peacefully passed away at the Sault Area Hospital (Plummer Site) with his family at his side on Saturday, August 23, 2008 at the age of 69 years. Son of the late Matthew Ridley Johnson and late Mary Hilda Johnson (Dunn). Beloved husband of Linda Johnson (Lewis). Loving father of Craig Johnson (Christine) and Susan Johnson (Christian). Cherished grandfather of Matthew and Ryan Johnson. Dear brother of Stanley (Jackie) and Harvey (Starr). Predeceased by his brothers Glenn, Robert (Pat) and William (June). Son in law of the late George and late Dorothy Lewis. Brother in law of George Lewis (Sally), Marty Lewis (Wendy) and the late Dianne Lewis. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 from 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.

Peacefully at the F.J. Davey Home on Sunday, August 24, 2008 at the age of 75. Beloved wife of the late Don Moffatt. Dear step sister of Meta Henderson (late Royce). Loving godmother of Tracey McClelland (Tom) and Blaine Mersereau (Pierette). Dear sister in law of Bob Moffatt (Shirley) and predeceased by Ross Moffatt (Marg), Glen Moffatt, Shirley Tuxford (Jim) and Eileen Ciarrocco (Raymond). Cherished friend of George and Sylvia Mersereau, Brent and Bonnie Mersereau and the late Brad Mersereau (Simone). Special auntie of Brittany, Brianna and Emily McClelland. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements to be announced by the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 759-2522.

Fred passed away peacefully on August 22, 2008 at the Sault Area Hospital in his 85th year. He was predeceased by his loving wife Frances. He was the cherished father of John (Margaret) and beloved Opa of Peter (Stephanie), Stephen (Shauna) and Jennifer Maurice (Shane) and three great grandchildren, Drew & Tyler Roch and Michael Maurice. Fred was the loved brother of Eric Coufal (Erna) & the late Hans. He will be missed by his cousins, niece & nephews here and in Austria and by his very dear friend Ruth Wagner. Special thanks to Dr. Walde, and the staff at the cancer clinic as well as the 6th floor for their kind and constant care. He was a kind and gentle soul that will be sorely missed but always cherished. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday August, 25, 2208 from 6-9 pm. Funeral service to be held in the chapel on Tuesday August 26, 2008 at 11 am. Rev. Jouko Jyrkama officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. It is with deep sadness in his 64th year, that we announce the peaceful passing of Vince on Saturday, August 23, 2008. With the 'love of his life', wife and best friend, Susanne (Sue) by his side. Loved and devoted dad to son Jamey - that he was so very proud of (Lise), daughter Carrie Fogg (James) and grampa of Gabrielle, Abigail, Jonah and Jayden Fogg. Loving and respected stepfather of Paula-Sue and Darryl Fillmore, Brad and Tammy Pierman. Papa to his cherished and much loved 3 M's - Madison, Mitchell and Magdelene Fillmore. Son of the late Levis (Penner) and Margaret (Maggie) Vallee. Cherished and loved brother of Nona Mae Dawson, Brian Vallee, Harold Vallee (deceased), Erni-Lynne Vallee, Brenda MacKay, Marguerite Madill, Charolette Vallee, Nelda Becker and Levis Vallee. Uncle Vince will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. "Vince touched the life's of many, through an unselfish dedication to do the right thing for each and everyone he knew in his lifetime". Just and all around 'Super Great Guy'. A "very special" thank you to all of 'our friends' and coworkers at Habourview Condo. Your caring thoughtfulness and support through the last several months, has been greatly appreciated and will be everlastingly remembered by us. To our close friends, James and Nancy Madigan - Susan and Ernie Kainula - who were there everyday, giving us support, love and care we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You are the greatest friends anyone could ever ask for. Our sincere, thank you and appreciation go out to - Dr. Fratesi, Dr. Mossing, Dr. Walde and Dr. Buehner for the last several months and years of excellent and dedicated care you gave Vince. You were all 'special' to him in your own way. We would like to express our gratitude to - Gloria from the Community Care Access Centre, the gals from We Care and the many nurses from BayShore Services. No words can express the kind, comforting, thoughtful and special care that Cheryl and Monica gave to Vince, each and everyday. They will always be very 'special' to us. A huge thank you!! Special thanks to the staff of the Palliative/Oncology Care Unit, your dedicated care, support and love was appreciated and has not gone unnoticed. In order to honour Vince's wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no funeral service. Memorial donations made to the SAH Cancer Care Fund would be appreciated by the family. Cherished Dziadziu of Stephanie, David and Joshua. Son of the late Stefania and Stanislaw Zelek. Brother of Waleria Zelek (Karol), Roza Ozog (Andrzej), and pre-deceased by Marysia Szewczyk (late Stanislaw), Aleksandra Szewczyk (late Edward), Piotr (late Marysia) and Andrzej (Fredzia). Brother-in-law of Marian Wlosinski (Zosia) and the late Wladyslaw Wlosinski (Karolina), the late Stanislaw Wlosinski (Helena) and the late Jan Wlosinski (Danusia) all of Poland. Jozef will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Parish prayers to be held at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday August 27, 2008 at St. Andrew Bobola Church at 10:00 a.m.with Father Boguslaw Jarosiek officiating. Beloved Husband of Connie and step father of Mary Naccarato (Joe), Lou and Frank (Nadia) Sirianni. . Grandfather of Marianne, Eric and Isabella. Great Grandfather of Arionna. Son of the late Giuseppe and Teresa Amore. Giovanni is survived by his cousins, Mary Pizzari (Robert), Frank (Theresa) and Giovanni (Maria) Chindamo of Sault Ste Marie as well as brothers, sisters, Nephews and Nieces in San Remo, Italy. Private family visitation. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Monday Aug.25th at St. Veronica’s church, Douglas St. at 2.p.m. with Rev. Eric Pannike officiating. (1935-2008) - Surrounded by his loving family, Merv peacefully passed away on August 21, 2008. In May 2008 Merv and the love of his life Maryln celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Proud father of Rick (Andrea), Carol Kennedy (George) and Ron (Cindy). Proud and loving Grandpa to Kerri and Craig (Katie) Kennedy, Jeff & Carly Boudah and little Connor Boudah. Son of the late Frank and Pearl Boudah. Much loved brother of the late Helen & Mel Lee, late Wilfred & Myrt Boudah, late Bea and Jack Hemphill, late Myrla Geroux, late Dorothy Metayer, Harry & Betty Boudah, late Mabel (Don) Duguay, Nelson & Jackie Boudah and Betty (late Enso) Andreola. Brother-in-law of Keith & Andy Smaha, Gerald & Frank Rank. Merv will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours. Merv (Mr. Fix-It) thoroughly enjoyed his time spent at the Pee Wee Arena and local curling clubs. The family would like to thank Dr. Maloney and the caring staff of 200Y at the General.
