Surrounded by family at the Sault Area Hospital-General Site on Sunday, April 20, 2008 in his 79th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Radiola (nee Crack). Father of Douglas, Helen Dupuis (Ronald) and the late Kenny. Grandfather of Lauri (fiancée Paul Rooney), Robert (Sue) and Stephen. Harold will be fondly remembered by John Fitzgerald. Step-grandfather of Monique Dufresne (Don), Adrien and Ronald (Kelly). Great grandfather of Stephanie, Steven, Zachary, Steven, Devon and Alexis. Step-great grandfather of Conner, Ashleigh, Joseph, Abigail and Evan. At the request of Harold, a private family gathering will be held. Memorial contributions to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Barton & Kiteley Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 759-2114.

Peacefully at the Thesaslon Hospital surrounded by her family on Friday April 18, 2008. Frances Asam of Algoma Manor in her 95th year, wife of the late Shannon Asam. Loving mother of Chris Asam (Bonnie) of Sault Ste Marie. Special grandmother to Sean Asam (Julie) of Desbarats, Shelly Osborne (Curtis) of Wharncliffe, Sue-Anne Asam of Sault Ste. Marie and great grandmother to Nicholas and Kennedy Asam, Brook, Adrianna and Hunter Osborne and Alexis-Joe Asam. Predeceased by two brothers and three sisters. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at St Amborse Catholic Church, Thessalon on Tuesday April 22, 2008. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery. Donations to the Easter Seals Society gratefully accepted.

Loving mother of Tracey Valiquette ( Scott ) of Thessalon, Trevor Pertteli (Monique) of Sault Ste. Marie and special mother of Levia Berardi of Thunder Bay, Diane McCaig (Sam) of Thessalon, Laurier Marchand and the late Donald Marchand (Rhonda). Dear daughter of Zena Dixon (late Stan). Special Nanny to Matt, Shelby, Jessica, Lidia, Angela, Cassandra, Clinton, Natasha and the late Joseph Tyler. Dear sister of William Dixon (Patsy) and John Dixon (Judy). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation. Friends may call at the Thessalon Bible Chapel on Saturday April 26, 2008 from 1pm until time of memorial service at 1:30pm. passed away peacefully on her 87th birthday, surrounded by her family, at the F. J. Davey Home on Saturday April 19, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Max Sullivan. Dear mother of; Gail Sullivan Palmer (John Chiarello), late Gary Sullivan, Frank Sullivan (Myra O'Sullivan), late Allan Sullivan, and Barry Sullivan (Stephanie). Grandmother of; Candice, Bennett and Maxwell. Great grandmother of Colin and Chanel. Fondly remembered by her many relatives and friends. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Wednesday April 23, 2008 from 12 noon until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Bruce McLeish officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Alzheimer Society or to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Peacefully at home on Sunday, April 13, 2008, Harry Buczel of London in his 83rd year. Dear friend and partner of Julie Scornaiencki. Survived by his first wife Helga Buczel. Son of the late Kazimiesz and the late Konstancja of Poland. Beloved father of Roland and his wife Anne Buczel, Vince and his wife Patricia Buczel, Sonja and her husband Fred Bedell, Annette Buczel and Richard Buczel. Loving grandfather of Ryan, Sarah and Nicholas Buczel, Patrick Buczel, and Lucas Bedell. He will be sadly missed by Christina, Carmen and Michael Scornaiencki. Harry was a World War II Veteran. Visitation was held on Friday from 7:00  9:00 p.m. at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the funeral service was conducted on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. Cremation was to follow. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Harry are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Margaret will be sadly missed by Larry, Phillip, Mac, and Matthew as well as the staff and friends at C.L.A. Friends may call at O’Sullivan Donnelly Funeral Home and Cremation Center corner of Cathcart and St. James Sts., Wednesday April 16th from 6 p.m. until the time of Funeral service at 8.p.m. with Father Michael Williams officiating. Beloved wife of the late Clifton Hunter and loving mother of Jean Holmes (Roy) of Cobble Hill, B.C., James (friend Cathy) of Cowichan Bay, B.C., Jeff (Cathy) of Brantford, Ontario, Jeannette Jussila (Ralph) and the late John Hunter of Sault Ste. Marie. Grandmother of 18 and great grandmother of 26. A family service and internment will take place in Sault Ste. Marie in June 2008.

Beloved wife of Bernard Langevin (predeceased January 3rd, 1982). Loving mother of Pierre Langevin (Kelly) of Chelmsford, Bernadette Courchene of Thunder Bay, Monique McGee (Mike) of Sault Ste. Marie, Jacques Langevin (predeceased 2007) (Crystal), Daniel Langevin (Kim) of Sault Ste. Marie and Nicole Doherty (Blaine) of Lively. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Ryan, Michael, Brandon, Micheline, Breena, Kristopher, Zoe and Sophie. Great grandmother to Kaiden and Rebecca. Loving daughter to the late Olive Turcotte (2007), whom Marlene helped care for over the past 4 years, and the late Albert Turcotte. Dear sister of Richard Turcotte (predeceased), Kathleen Turcotte, Dianne Callahan, Robert Turcotte and Annette DeRose. Dear sister-in-law to Therese Secord. Marlene devoted her life to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to laugh and had a great sense of humour. Also, she had a passion for gardening, cooking and crossword puzzles. Marlene had a magnetic personality that will be sorely missed by everyone she knew and loved. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Friday, April 11th, 2008. (Friends may call from 6:30 - 9 p.m.). Cremation followed by a Memorial Service in Kirkland Lake at a later date. Donations to the N.E.O.R. Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
