Annie Antinozzi

It is with sadness that we announce Annie passed away on April 20, 2008 at the Olds Hospital and Care Center in Olds Alberta. Annie was born December 21, 1926 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and spent the majority of her life there before moving to Alberta to be with her niece Shirley (Mckinnon) and her husband Chris Schaper in 2001. She will be always remembered and dearly missed by her son Stephen Marshall (Kathy), sister in law Sandy Antinozzi, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends both in the Sault and in Olds. Annie was predeceased by her parents Tony and Maria Antinozzi, siblings; Mike, Colinda, Sue (Sam Turco), Loretta (Norman McKinnon), Guerino (Doris). Annie was a very social person who loved to be with people, and when able, serve them her delicious baking for which she will always be remembered. A memorial service will be held at a later date in August in Sault Ste. Marie. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you considerate a memorial contribution be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association (1-800 226-8464) in Annies’ memory.

Surrounded by his family at the General Hospital on Thursday April 24, 2008. Beloved husband of Eveleen for 66 years. Dear father of; late Richard DeGasparo, Judy Lang and Carol McNaughton (Michael). Grandfather of; Kevin, Jason, Jeffrey, Sarah and Emily. Great grandfather of Eric and Michael. Son of the late Michael and Rafaella DeGasparo. Brother of; late Alfred (late Barbara), late Thelma Pizzari (late Ross), late James (late Laura), late Ben (Maude), late Frank (late Nellie), late Edith Law (late Borden) and the late Mary Fleury (late Edmond). Brother-in-law of the late Joseph Pace (late Eva). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at St. Gerard Majella Church on Saturday April 26, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. until time of funeral mass at the church at 9:00 a.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Cherished grandmother of Tim Burns (Rebecca), Dean Burns (Lisa Jacob), Paul Burns (Kathryn), Stephanie Dunphy (Derek) and Greg Beilhartz. Great grandmother of Colin, Erin, Luke and Mackenzie. Sister of Harry Merrett (Elsie) and the late Stan Merrett (Edna), Dot McLeod (late Don) and Tom Merrett (late Lois). Sister-in-law of Fern Pratt and Dora Walton. Peacefully at the SAH Plummer Site with her family at her side, after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Monday, April 21, 2008 at 77 years of age. Cecile went to be with her loving husband and best friend of 58 years, the late John (Cash Sr.) just 11 days after his passing. Daughter of the late Fiore and Mary Ardito. Dearly loved mother of Dianne Ralph and John (Cash Jr.) (Liette). Cherished nana of Sherri Weatherall (Chad), Ryan Ralph (Tova), Chris Casola and Marcie Logan (Bob). Beloved Great Gramma of Hannah and Abby Logan and Ethan Horne. Sister of Jimmy Ardito (Sylvia), Enes Mazzer (late Reno) (Joe) and Louise Elliott (Wayne). Sister-in-law of Louis (Boofy) (Norma), Albert (Marlene), late Freddy (Sylvia), late Jimmy (late Jean) (Marie), Margaret Killoran (late Jimmy) (Andy) and Robert (Silvana). Affectionately remembered by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Cee will be fondly remembered for her gentle manner, her love of life and her giving nature. Much loved father of Morris (Anna), Paul, Ivan (Jodi) and Adam (Lisa). Proud grandpa of D.J., Mark, Steven, Max, Emily, Maddy and Nathan. Son of the late Morris and Jessie Khull. Dear brother of Vera Schneider, Alice Pearson, Ruby Reid, Iona Verhoeks, Clayton and predeceased by Melvin, Russel, Alvin, Lester, Adeline and Nyle. Special brother-in-law of Patricia Junor, Judy Caldwell (Cliff), Lola Romani (Brian), Donna Junor and Rod Junor (Carole). Gordon will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Special Papa and Pa to Rita-Ann and JoAnn Varcoe, Chelsey and Brandon, Melanie and Kenneth, Bobbi-Lynn Ross, Gary, Darren and Nancy, Kaleb and Clayton Hernden, Mitchel, Luke, Billy-John, Adam and Melissa McCulloch. Great grandfather of Garrett Ross. Step-father of Wesley (Diana), Nancy McGregor (Ken) and Robert McCulloch. Robert is predeceased by his parents George and Inez Avery and his sister Ena Maki (Bill) and brothers Borden (Francis), Ted (Betty), Lloyd (Mildred) and Howard. Brother-in-law of Elva Avery. Father-in-law of Donnie Varcoe. Uncle Bob to many nieces, nephews and others. Special brother-in-law of the late Eugenio and Erna Gualtieri, Matilde Greco (late Alfredo), Vincenza Cappello (late John), Giulia Gabrielli (Amedeo), late Angelo and Anna Gualtieri, late Giuseppina and Eugenio Giordano, Ottavio Gualtieri (Rita), Mirella Cundari (late Dante), Aldina Arnone (Amedeo) and Bianca Bozzo (Franco). Very special cousin to Iva, Dora, Bobby (and families) and many other cousins. He will be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews and friends here and overseas.
