Mrs. Carol Frances Meyette-Hoag
October 8, 1950 - August 12, 2007

MEYETTE-HOAG, Carol Frances - Suddenly at her residence with her family by her side on Sunday, August 12, 2007. Carol Meyette-Hoag of Cavan in her 57th year. Beloved wife of Michael Hoag. Dear mother of Colin (Heathyr) and Kaitlyn (Josh). Sister of Joan Cameron of Kingston, Paul Meyette (Lyndal) of Red Deer, Alberta and Mike Meyette (Linda) of Belleville. Carol is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 600 Monaghan Rd. S. from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Thursday, followed by a memorial service to celebrate Carol's life in the Nisbett Chapel on Thursday August 16, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens. If desired, memorial donations to the A.L.S. Society would be appreciated.

Mrs. Mary McTaggart
June 29, 1918 - August 8, 2007

Peacefully at Goderich Place Retirement Home on Wednesday August 8, 2007. Mary (White) McTaggart of Goderich in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Wilfrid Hogan and Allan McTaggart. Dear mother of Michael (Edda) Hogan, Jim (Loretta) Hogan, Dennis (Eileen) Hogan, Maureen Hogan, Bill (Darlene) Hogan, Yvonne (Leslie) Knight and Geraldine (the late Allan) Siemon. Loving grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Also survived by sister Leona Black and sister-in-law Mary White. Also predeceased by brothers Wilfred and Laverne.
Friends were received at McCallum & Palla Funeral Home, Goderich, on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Goderich on Saturday August 11 at 11 AM. Rev. Thomas Cherusseril celebrant. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Kingsbridge. CWL Prayers were held in the Funeral Home Friday evening 6:45 PM, Parish prayers followed at 7 PM. Donations to the Heart & Stroke foundation gratefully acknowledged.

Mrs. Frances Lefroy
July 14, 1929 - August 2, 2007

Frances Lefroy passed away peacefully on August 2, 2007 in her 79th year. Loving mother to Barb, George, Barry, Laura and the late Donna and Georgina. She wil be sadly missed by her Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, extended family and many friends. Private graveside service is being held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Saturday August 11, 2007. Donations to Canadian Diabetes Association. Arrangements entrusted to Washington & Johnston Funeral Home, 717 Queen St. E. Toronto.

Mr. Leo Thomas Hunt, Jr.
April 29, 1925 - August 11, 2007

Leo Thomas Hunt, 82 years, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2007 at Hotel Dieu Hospital, Windsor. Loving husband to Marguerite for 62 years. Beloved father of Gary & wife Louise, Elaine & husband Jake, Linda & husband Andy, Debbie & husband Ron, Wayne & wife Louann, Roger & wife Shelly, Cindy & husband Bud, Jeff & wife Stacy. Will be missed dearly by his 24 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Leo Sr. and Alma. Dear brother of Marjorie, Elizabeth, Emily, Alice and Geraldine and predeceased by brothers and sisters Reford, Rosella, Malcolm, Mary Margaret, Frank, Aggie and Butch. Leo has been retired for many years after 44 years of dedicated service at Allied Chemical and a member of Local 89 Union. Friends will be received at the JAMES H. SUTTON FUNERAL HOME, 401 Sandwich St. S., Amherstburg on Monday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Tuesday August 14, 2007 leaving the funeral home at 10 a.m. going to St. John The Baptist Church for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial tributes may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association. A tree will be planted in memory of Leo in the Sutton Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held Sunday, September 30, 2007. All are welcome.
Leo’s family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at Hotel Dieu Hospital I.C.U. and Palliative Care Units for all of the care and attention given to Leo.

Mr. Leonard Agustine McGaughey
November 27, 1919 - August 11, 2007

McGaughey, Leonard Augustine passed away at the Bridge St. Retirement Residence on Saturday August 11, 2007 in his 88th year. Son of the late Irving and Eva McGaughey. Beloved husband of Louie McGaughey. Loving father of David McGaughey of Trenton, Lawrence McGaughey (Katie) of Marlbank, Stephen McGaughey of Trenton, and LeeAnne Gullen of Toronto. Loving grandfather of Mark, and Linnea, also loved by great granddaughter Madison. Dear brother of Bernard McGaughey, and Jeanne Anne Gonzalez. Predeceased by brother Charles. Family and friends are invited to call at the BURKE FUNERAL HOME, 150 Church St., Belleville on Wednesday August 15, 2007 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., followed by the memorial service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment at a later date. Memorial donations to Cancer Research would be appreciated by the family.

Mr. Herbert Victor Campbell
February 4, 1917 - August 11, 2007

On August 11, 2007 at University Hospital, Herbert Victor Campbell passed away peacefully at the age of 90. Survived by his loving wife Audrey Campbell (nee West) of 68 years. He will be dearly missed by his children Frederick (Linda), Carol (Paul) Smith, William (Darlene), Donna (Lynn) Holley, by 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Survived by his sister Clara Garner of Barrie, Ontario. Herbert was a Veteran of the Second World War, a member of the International Alliance of Theatrical and Stage Employees Union for over 60 years, one of the founding stage hands in the Tent for Stratford Festival and at one time was lead carpenter for the Avon Theatre. The funeral service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1997 Dundas St. E. (at Wavell) on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at 1pm. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Mr. William Robert "Bert" Armstrong
March 23, 1934 - August 9, 2007

William Armstrong passed away at Alexandra Marine & General Hospital on Thursday August 9, 2007. William Robert "Bert" Armstrong of Goderich in his 74th year. Beloved husband of the late Helen Mae (Morrison) Armstrong. Dear father of Michael & Deb Armstrong, Julie & Sylvain Babin all of Goderich step father of Cathie Fraunce & Brandon Keating of Brampton. Survived by his grandchildren Kody &Dustin Babin, Jeffrey Pettit, Michelle Armstrong, Angie Fraunce, 1 great grandchild and brother Herb & Pat Armstrong, sister Feithlinn & Murray Campbell all of Goderich. Friends will be received at McCallum & Palla Funeral Home, Cambria Rd. at East St. Goderich on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday August 13, 2007 at 1 PM. Interment Maitland Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Parkinson Foundation gratefully acknowledged.

Mrs. Molly Radford
December 2, 1923 - August 10, 2007

Peacefully, on August 10th, 2007, with her family by her side, Molly passed away in her 84th year. Beloved wife of Jack for 53 years. Loving mother of Doug (Donna), Donald, David, Timmy, and Karen (Doug Henderson). Dear sister in law of Doug and Noreen Radford and of the late Dorothy Ellis, and William and Robert Radford. Friends will be received at the MOUNT LAWN RECEPTION CENTRE (21 Garrard St., Whitby) on Sunday, August 12th, 2007 from 1-4 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Memorial Chapel on Tuesday August 14th at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow. Memorial donations to the Oshawa General Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

October 29, 1938 - August 8, 2007

Colin Brian McCandless, 68 years, passed on August 8, 2007 at Windsor Regional Hospital-Metropolitan Campus. Will be missed by immediate family, Genny, sons: Brian, Jeff and wife Christine, Jason Todd, brothers Bob (Dolores), Lynn (Noella), Larry (Hope), Dale (Sandy). Predeceased by parents Effie "Mike" and Al McCandless, brother Grant and good friend Paul Cook. Also will be missed by best friend Glen Cook and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Monday, August 13, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Robert Couture will be the celebrant. The interment of cremated remains will follow at St. Anne Cemetery. In kindness memorial donations to the Humane Society of Windsor & Essex County would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Colin McCandless in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 30, 2007. All are welcome.
