Petersen, Ronald Godfrey (retired Psychiatric Social Worker of Lakeridge Health System - passed away peacefully on Friday, August 3, 2007 at Lakeridge Health, Bowmanville in his 71st year. Ron, beloved husband of 44 years of Beverley (nee Wenschlag). Loving father of Rhonda, Ryan and his wife Joanne. Proud grandpa of Cary and Marcus. Dear brother of Doreen and her husband Walter Goodyear of Saskatchewan. Ron will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends for his compassion and sense of humour. Friends will be received at MOUNT LAWN RECEPTION CENTRE, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby (north of hwy 2) on Thursday, August 16, 2007 from 11:30 am - 2:30 p.m. for a Celebration of Ron's life. Those attending are encouraged to bring a memory to share over refreshments. In lieu of flowers, donations to a cancer research organization of your choice would be appreciated.

Alan Little passed away on Tuesday August 7, 2007 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of the late Jessie Little (1988). Dear father of Diane and her husband Steve Jessome, Jim and his wife Susan and Robert. Grandfather of Darryl Guay, Melanie McKenna, Shelley Guay, Sheryl Cousins ( Ernie), Jason and Richard Little and great grandfather of Joshua, Liam, Shalynn, Brandon and Darren. Dear brother of Shirley Hingston and Ivan Little. He was predeceased by his daughter Margaret Anne. Alan was a Life Member of the Jordan Lions Club for over 40 years and was a member of the Port Dalhousie Lawn Bowling Club. Recently retired from Bakkers and Sommerville Nurseries. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

In his 84th year, died peacefully at home. Leaving behind his wife Milica, son Mihajlo with his family, daughters Stalka, Anda, Mira and their families.
Also leaving behind his two brothers and sister in the former Yugoslavia. He will be missed by many family members and kumovi here and abroad.
Visitation will be held at L.G. WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 151 Ottawa Street North on Wednesday from 6-9, with Pomen at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral Service will be at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, Barton Street East on Thursday, August 9, 2007 at 11 a.m. with the Very Reverend Father Vojislav Pavlovic officiating.
Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

White, Gary Peter passed away after a dignified and courageous battle with cancer at home in the arms of his soul mate, surrounded by family on Sunday, January 29, 2006 in his 43rd year. Beloved husband of Jeanette (nee Bumstead). Adoring Daddy to Christopher and Sydney. Much loved son of Bill and Anne White and cherished brother to Neil (Kim) White and Julie-Anne. Dear brother- in- law of Donna (Alan Miner), Diane (Dwayne Lobban) and Jim (Betty) Bumstead. Gary will be sadly missed by his many aunts, uncles and cousins in Canada and the UK. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family from TD Wealth Management. Gary was an active coach in hockey and soccer in Oakville and will be sadly missed by the many minor league children he helped to guide. Visitation will be held at Glen Oaks Memorial Chapel and Reception Centre, 3164 Ninth Line (at Dundas) Oakville on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. At Gary’s request donations in lieu of flowers to the MOHA Presidents Fund to support participation in Oakville Minor Hockey c/o Glen Oaks Memorial Chapel, 3164 Ninth Line Oakville L6H 7A8 or The Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated.

passed away peacefully at the Huronia District Hospital with her family by her side on Thursday August 16, 2007 in her 93rd year. Dear sister of Lorette Marchand and her late husband James, Maurice and his wife Helene, Lucille and her husband Roger, and Remi and his wife Yvonne. Predeceased by Robert and her his wife Jeanne, Lucien and his wife Olivine, Alfrida and her husband Andre, Maurille and his wife Marie, and Bert and his wife Teresa. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at the Penetanguishene Funeral Home, 155 Main Street, Penetanguishene on Sunday, August 19th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers with the Ladies of St. Ann will be held at 3 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Ann's Church, Penetanguishene on Monday August 20th at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Loving mom of Christine, David and Beverley. Cherished grandma of Jake, Ashley, Jamie, Hunter, Heather, Khloie, Nicholas, Kassandra, Damian and Alanna.
