Surrounded by family, friends, and an abundance of love, Don bid us farewell on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at Scarborough Grace Hospital. Don was a most loving and devoted husband to Mary Therese. He was an extremely proud father and father-in-law to Robb and Deb, Ron, Doug and Joan, David and Erica, and Danny and Dawn. Don was a treasured Papa to Erica, Geneva, Benjamin, Ryan, Aaron, Chloe, Madeline, Nathan, Abigail and Adam. Don will be especially remembered by many other close family members and long-time friends. Don was a kind and gentle man who will live on in all of our hearts. A special thank you to Dr. Hurowitz, Dr. Khabbaz and the palliative care team for all of their advice and support. Friends may visit at HIGHLAND FUNERAL HOME, 3280 Sheppard Ave. E. June 22, 1919 - August 22, 2007
Peacefully passed away, surrounded by family, at the Hamilton General Hospital on Wednesday, August 22, 2007, in his 89th year.
Predeceased by his loving wife, Milka (Uzelac) and daughter Maryana, parents Stevan (Bico) and Stana, sisters Joka and Mika and brother Nikola.
Cherished father of Millie Dearness (Drago), Steve (Michelle), Mike (Marion and Mary).
Grandfather of Michael (Sanya), Gregory, Stevie, Danny, Mikey.
He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family members, kumovi and friends from around the world.
Mirko was a longtime employee and retiree of Dofasco Inc. He had a gentle, sincere spirit which all who knew him loved and will dearly miss.
Visitation will be at L.G. WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 151 Ottawa Street North on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers (Pomen) each evening at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral Service will be at the Serbian Orthodox Cathedral on Nash Road South, Hamilton, Ontario on Monday, August 27, 2007 at 11:00 a.m.
Interment to follow at the Holy Transfiguration Cemetery, 7470 McNiven Rd., Milton, Ontario.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Archangel Michael Church in Kosinj, Lika (Please inquire at Funeral Home for details) or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

THRASHER, Eleanor J. (Deneau), 82 years, on September 2, 2007 at W.R.H. Metropolitan Campus.
Preceded in death by her parents Loftus and Pearl Deneau, and her brothers Murray “Bud”, Everett, Chester, and Carl. Beloved wife of 60 years to Marwin “Abe”. Loving mother of Dennis Michael (Carol) and Marcia Anne (Dan) Bebbington. Beloved grandmother “Nana” to Ellyn Michelle (Scott), Michelle Theresa (Aric), Dennis Michael II, Kathleen, Stephanie (Bill), and Rick, and great grandmother to Robert, Gary, Isabella Rose, and Mason. Dear sister to Vincent (Gloria), Alvin (Marilyn), Garnet “Vic” (Kathleen), Patricia, and Carol, and sister-in-law of Barbara Deneau. She is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the St. John the Baptist Church Building Fund (225 Brock St., Amherstburg, ON N9V2H3) would be appreciated.
Visitation will be at the JAMES H. SUTTON FUNERAL HOME, 401 Sandwich St. S., Amherstburg on Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m., with Parish Prayers at 8 p.m. Further visitation on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. We will then proceed to St. John the Baptist Church for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
A tree will be planted in memory of Eleanor in the Sutton Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 30, 2007. All are welcome.

Captain Lloyd David SHARP
March 2, 1949 - August 31, 2007
Captain Lloyd David Sharp, 58, of Aylesford, Kings County, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 31st, 2007, at his home.
Born on March 2nd, 1949, in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, he was the only son of the late George and Mary (McGowan) Sharp.
Lloyd spent many years working aboard various ships, receiving his Captain’s papers in 1978. He was most recently employed by DND, as 1st mate aboard the Canadian Forces Auxillary Vessel, St. Charles, retiring in 1990. Until recently, he was an active member in the Aylesford Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife, the former Helen Margaret Thorpe; son, Stephen, Falmouth; daughters, Margaret “Peggy” (Brian) MacMillan, Falmouth; Rachael Sharp (Robert Elliott), Windsor; grandchildren, Joshua, Zachary and Elijah MacMillan; Madison and Kyle Elliott.
Cremation has taken place under the care of Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, Windsor. There will be no visitation by request.
Burial will take place at a later date, at sea.
Donations may be made to: The Dalhousie Medical Research or a charity of one’s choice.
Mrs. Loretta Mary Clark (formerly Auger)
May 19, 1913 - September 1, 2007
CLARK, LORETTA MARY, passed away peacefully at Providence Manor surrounded by her family on Saturday, September 1, 2007. Predeceased by her husband James Clark. Loving mother of Shirley Jaynes (Dan), Marlene Giroux (Paul), Betty Meunier (Jean) and Allan Clark ( Margaret). Cherished by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister of Lynn Dempsey ( Harold) of Black Point, New Brunswick.
Family gathered at our Mother of Sorrow's Chapel, Providence Manor on Monday, September 3 for the Mass of Christian Burial. Rite of Commital with prayers was held in St. Mary's Cemetery.
For those wishing, memorial donations may be made to UHKF Providence Care, Providence Manor Site or Alzheimer's Society in memory of Loretta.
