NOBLE Ruby S. Peacefully on August 27th at Versa Care Nursing Home in her 95th year. Loved wife of the late Howard Noble and daughter of the late Albert and Sarah Price. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews including Ruth and Ronald of St. Catharines and also the staff of Versa Care. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Cremation has taken place with inurnment at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.

Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital with her family by her side, on Saturday, September, 1, 2007 in her 95th year. Only daughter of the late Isaac and anna Cohen. Wife of the late Dr. Irwin Sugarman. Mother of Norman (Marsha) and the late Nancy Gelman. Gramma to Lori Jill Sugarman (Toronto), Marnie and Stephen Adler (Toronto), Michael and Joy Gelman (Seattle) and Jason Gelman (New York) and great Gramma to Samantha Erin Adler. The family gives a special thanks to Mary Jo and Maria Helena for their years of friendship and loving care. Funeral Service was held on Monday, September 3, 2007 at Beth Israel Congregation. Memorial donations may be made to the Irwin and Miriam Sugarman Memorial Fund, Beth Israel Congregation, 116 Centre Street, Kingston, K7L 4E6 or to Breast Cancer Research. Shiva visitation at 858 Pembridge Cres. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 1-3 p.m. and 7.9 p.m.

Peacefully at Woodhaven Nursing Home in Markham on Monday, September 3, 2007 in her 80th year. Predeceased by her loving husband David (2006). Loving mother of Derek (Myrna), Kevin (Pat), Peter (Paulette), and Janet (Tom Wise). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Rob (Lesley), Dave (Liz), Tim, Kaitlyn, Jeffrey, Darren, Katie, and Gregory. Also remembered by sister Noreen and her husband Rut Van Holland of Rosedale, B.C. Special thanks to caregivers Clem and Josie. Also thanks to Benedicta and the staff at Woodhaven. BERTRAND, Stanley Asten “Steamer” passed away peacefully with his family by his side on September 4, 2007 at Richmond Terrace Nursing Home at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of the late Grace “Sis” Bertrand (nee Bernard) (1999). Loving father of Drifford & wife Tena, Laura Beaudoin & husband Brian. Uncle of Doug Decker. Dear grandfather to Kim, Chase, Kelly, Michael & Christie. Predeceased by his parents Drifford (1980) & Laura (1974). Brother of Melva Jones, the late Drifford Jr. (1954), Carl (1993), Fred (1995) and Gerald (2006). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Stan was the proud owner and operator of Steamer Electric Ltd. (Amherstburg). Visiting at the JAMES H. SUTTON FUNERAL HOME, 401 Sandwich St. S., Amherstburg on Thursday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Friday September 7, 2007 leaving the funeral home at 10 a.m. going to St. John The Baptist Church for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment Rose Hill Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy donations to Windsor Regional Cancer Centre. A tree will be planted in memory of Stan in the Sutton Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 2008.

KUYPER, Nicholaas Petrus, passed away with family by his side at the CKHA, Public General Campus, on Monday, September 3, 2007. Born in the Netherlands 74 years ago, son of the late Jan Kuyper and Betj "Elizabeth" Konjin. He will be greatly missed and will be dearly remembered by his wife Gwen of 49 years, his daughters Diane Town (George), Julie Smith and Sandra Kielstra (Rick). Grandchildren Kris Smith (Krissy Karam), Deb Smith (Colin Elgie) and Kathryn, Nicholas and Benjamin Keilstra. Also survived by 9 brothers and sisters. Friends will be received at the Bowman Funeral Home, 4 Victoria Avenue, Chatham (519-352-2390) for visitation on Thursday September 6, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will take place Friday September 7, 2007 at 11:00 am from Our Saviour Lutheran Church. Cremation to follow. Contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Peacefully, Cening left our world on September 4, 2007. She reunites with her late husband Romeo Sr. and her youngest son Raymond. Spiritually she is still here and is survived by her children Anna, Liza, Cenn, Jojo and Ricky. She is a proud grandmother of 12 and a great-grandmother of 5. She also leaves behind 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Inocencia never expressed negativity to others. She was always pleasant and we are lucky to have been blessed with her wisdom. She will be forever missed.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday and Thursday from 5-9 pm at the HIGHLAND FUNERAL HOME, MARKHAM CHAPEL, 10 Cachet Woods Court (northeast corner of 16th Ave & Hwy 404) . Funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
