Mrs. Vera May Nichols
May 5, 1925 - October 1, 2007

Vera May Nichols passed away peacefully at the Penetanguishene Hospital on Monday, October 1, 2007 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Harold Nichols. Dear mother of John Nichols and his wife Marie, and Judy McKay and her husband Bryan. Loving grandmother of 4 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Survived by her brothers Gerald and his wife Beryl, and Beverly and his wife Bonnie. Predeceased by her brothers William, Jack and Doug. Sister-in-law of Kenneth, Edward and his wife Barb, and Barb and her husband Cliff, and predeceased by sister-in-law Kary Chowen and brother-in-law Sam Nichols. Lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Resting at the Nicholls Funeral Home, 330 Midland Avenue, Midland on Tuesday, October 2nd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, October 3rd at 1 p.m. Interment at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Georgian Bay Lung Association would be appreciated.

Mary Lou Deyman
February 10, 1934 - September 28, 2007

Deyman, Mary Lou (Nee Maney) passed away suddenly, at her home, on Friday, September 28, 2007 in her 74th year. Dear sister of Theo Byrne of Perth, Theresa (Jack) Storie of Ajax and sister in law of Mary Margaret Maney. Predeceased by brothers Ken and Raymond. Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and her beloved Cosmos. Friends will be received at the Central Chapel of Gordon F. Tompkins, 49 Colborne Street ( at Clergy Street) on Tuesday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary's Cathedral on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation, with Rite of Committal at St. Mary's Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

July 23, 1947 - September 29, 2007

Moreau, Linda passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, September 29th, 2007 in her 61st year. Loving wife of Gerald. Dear mother of Michelle (Chris) Luck, Denise ( Michael) Fox-Moreau and Jeffery (Lisa). Daughter of Margaret Ross and the late Oscar Ross. Sister of Judy, Barbara, David and the late John Ross. Nana of Zachary and Xavier Luck, Nicholle, Matthew and Jordan Fox and Kyle and Troy Moreau. Linda will be sadly missed by her many relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007 at 11 am at St. Patrick's Church Perkinsfield. Interment to follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Penetanguishene Funeral Home.

1932 - 2007

PENNY, Mary Anne passed away peacefully on Monday, October 1, 2007 at Etobicoke General Hospital. Wife of the late Albert Penny.
Mother of Loretta, John and Frances. As per Mary's request, a private burial service was held, in her honor with a priest presiding at her grave site, at Mount Hope Cemetery. In lieu of floral contributions, family has requested donations be sent to the William Osler Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit 9th floor, Etobicoke Hospital Campus, 101 Humber College Boulevard, Etobicoke, Ontario M9V 1R8. Mary will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

TEMPLE, Paul entered into rest on Monday, October 01, 2007 with his loving family at his side. Son of the late Frederick and Isabel Temple. Dear husband of Elizabeth Temple (nee Derouin). Loving and cherished father of Catherine Temple and her husband Brian Lawrence of Toronto, Frederick Temple of Barrie and Mary Temple of Toronto. Dear brother of Phyllis Foster of Belleville, Joan Temple of Belleville, also loved by brother-in-law Gerry Derouin (late Judy) of Sutton, and sister -in-law Mary Fournier (Ron) of Elmvale. Predeceased by brothers Frederick and Robert Temple and sister Corrine Rashotte (late Casey). Also loved by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call at the BURKE FUNERAL HOME, 150 Church St., Belleville on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church on Friday, October 05, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. (noon). Interment St. James Cemetery. Memorial donations to Hospice Quinte or Bridgepoint Health, Toronto would be appreciated by the family.

Mr. Terence Philip John Creteau
July 11, 1924 - September 30, 2007

CRETEAU, Terence (Terry) passed away peacefully on September 30, 2007 at the Belleville General Hospital. Predeceased by beloved with Shirley Creteau. Much loved brother to Claire Collins of New York City, Monica Hart of Tobago, and the late Tom Creteau. Fondly remembered by his 8 nephews and nieces. Dearly missed by long time friends Winnifred Wright, Lyn Hawkes Kathy Graham and Carl Deleslie. A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at the Belleville Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted with the BURKE FUNERAL HOME, 150 Church St., Belleville. If family and friends so desire donations to the Canadian Cancer society would be appreciated.

She will be sadly missed by her loving husband and best friend, Frank Fournier. Loving and cherished mother of Cathy (Wayne), Cyndy (Dave), and Frank Patrick. She will also be very sadly missed by her grandchildren, Tylor, Connor and Aidan, her inseparable sister, Alice (Rick), as well as all of the other members of the family and her many, many friends. She was a wonderful and very giving person who will be sadly missed. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bernadette’s Roman Catholic Church (21 Bayly St. E, Ajax) on Thursday, October 4th, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. Private burial to follow. Arrangements entrusted to the McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Old Kingston Road, Pickering Village (Ajax).
