Mrs. Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Ash
October 12, 2007

Elizabeth “Lizzie” Ash passed away peacefully on Friday October 12, 2007 at the Bay Ridges Long Term Care Facility, in her 82nd year. Loving wife of the late Allan. Cherished mother of Phyllis (Jim Lynch), Peggy (Dan Reid) and David (Catherine). Devoted grandmother of Jacquie, Lisa, Jimmy, Jennifer, Christine, Carol, Sheryl and Matthew, and great-grandmother of Breton, Clayton, Bradley, Briannah, Tyler, Brendon, Nicholas and Reece. Lizzie will also be sadly missed by many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends at the McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Old Kingston Road, Pickering Village (Ajax) from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Monday. Funeral Service in the chapel on Tuesday October 16, 2007 at 1:00 pm. Interment - Erskine Cemetery. Should family of friends so desire, donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.

HOUDE, LEO JOSEPH CLEMENT passed away peacefully at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, October 13, 2007. Beloved husband for 54 years of Yvonne (Gingras). Loving father of Mario (Pierrette), Reg (Colleen) and Lynn (Rick) Prudil. Cherished grandfather of Eric, Patrick, Marc, Stephane and Melissa, Stacey and Matt Phillips, Aimee and Justin, Monica and Tommy Vallier, Patricia and Andrew. Dearly remembered by his many brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews
Friends will be received at the Township Chapel of the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Homes, 435 Davis Drive (Centennial Dr and Taylor Kidd Blvd) on Tuesday, October 16 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francois d'Assise Church,512 Frontenac Street, Wednesday, October 17 at 11:00 a.m. Rite of Committal with prayers in St. Mary's Cemetery.
For those wishing, memorial donations may be made to the UHKF Southeastern Ontario Cancer Centre or UHKF Palliative Care of PCC St. Mary's of the Lake, in memory of Leo.

August 16, 1956 - October 13, 2007

passed away with her family by her side at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto on Saturday October 13th, 2007 in her 52nd year. Linda Charlebois of Penetanguishene beloved daughter of June and the late Octave Charlebois. Dear sister of Brenda, Eva, Edith (Larry) and Doug. Loving aunt of Lindsay. Granddaughter of Mabel Tooley. Fondly remembered by Darryl, Ryan and Alexis Fournier. Great friend of Rochelle Fournier, Suzanne Cascagnette and the late Ron Patrick. Sadly missed by her family and friends. The family will receive friends at the Penetanguishene Funeral Home, 155 Main St., Penetanguishene on Tuesday October 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday October 17th at 11 a.m. Cremation with interment later at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Perkinsfield. Memorial donations to the Hsopital for Sick Children's Burn Unit would be appreciated.

CECILE, Rose, 87 years, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on October 12, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred Cecile and Cecil Arnold. Loving mother of Lorne & Joan Arnold of N.S., Bob & Carol Arnold of Stoney Pointe, Jim & Barb Arnold of London, John & Debbie Arnold of Windsor, Donna & Joe Fitzgerald of Lucknow, and the late Keith Arnold. Cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren and predeceased by Jason and Joseph. Great grandmother of 12 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Simone Ewart of Windsor and Maryjane Suzanna of Kings-ton. Also survived by many step brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Visiting at the Janisse Bros. Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Avenue (519-253- 5225), on Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. with cremation to follow. As your expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre. A tree will be planted in memory of Rose in the Janisse Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 28th, 2008.

ENGLISH, Florence Alberta (nee Weir) passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, October 13, 2007, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Gordon English. Dear mother of Barbara Price and her late husband George. Loving grandmother of David Price and his wife Julie, and Susan LeClair and her husband Jason. Great-grandmother of Morgan, Hunter, Grace and Isabel. Predeceased by her brother Alan Weir. Resting at the Highland Funeral Home and Cremation Centre 'Scarborough' Chapel, 3280 Sheppard Avenue East (west of Warden), Scarborough on Monday, October 15th from 1 p.m. until time of service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow. If desired, memorial donations to Autism Ontario would be greatly appreciated.

Morgan Goodwill, CA, CFA - It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden death of Morgan James Goodwill on Wednesday, October 10, 2007. Only 35 years of age, Morgan was the beloved husband and best friend of Kim (Carkner) and proud Daddy of Connor and Ella. Cherished son of David and Angela Goodwill, much loved brother of Alasdair (Helena) and Daniel (Lisa); adored grandson of Philip and Beryl Skeens and the late Joseph and Isabel Goodwill; as well as the dear son-in-law of Donald and Norma Carkner. Morgan had a wonderful sense of fun and had an amazing talent for making those around him feel good about themselves. Professionally, he was a widely respected key member of the Corporate Real Estate team at BMO Financial Group. He will be dearly missed by many, many people. The family will receive friends at the McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Old Kingston Road, Pickering Village (Ajax) from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Tuesday. Memorial service at Claremont United Church (5052 Old Brock Rd., Claremont) on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 2 pm. Beloved daughter of Adu and Aurora; beloved sister of Loreta, Olivia, Olinda, Eva and Lorna; beloved aunt of Vanessa and Jim, Lauren and Jason; cherished great-aunt of Ashley and Joshua; sister-in-law to Salim, Peter and Mark. Friend and mentor to so many. The family will receive friends at the Highland Funeral Home, 3280 Sheppard Ave. E. (416-773-0933) from 5-9 p.m. on Sunday, October 14th. SPRINGER, SEDDY (nee PALMER) - Peacefully, with her family by her side on Friday, October 12, 2007 in her 99th year. Predeceased by her husband Samuel Springer (1974), brother Morris Palmer and sisters Itka Palmer, Leah Crammer and Eva Hendin. Survived by dear sister Sheina Kaye. Beloved mother of Jerry (Marilyn) and Norman (Janet). Cherished grandmother of Bryon (Jane), Hal (Sari), Shari (Michael), Ben (Karen), Michael (Melissa), Doug (Carolyn), Heidi (Adam) and 18 great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by all her nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service was held on Sunday, October 14, 2007 at Beth Israel Synagogue. Shiva will be observed at 26 Hillcroft Drive, Monday October 15 through Thursday October 18 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations for those who wish, may be made in Seddy's memory to the Beth Israel Congregation, 116 Centre Street, Kingston, ON K7L 4E6.
