Ann was a member of the parish council and A.C.W. of St. James Anglican Church, a member of the Niagara Heritage Quilters Guild and a past president C.F.S.E.A.

CHAPEL of BUTLER FUNERAL HOME, 424 Niagara St. (south of Scott) where the family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. James Anglican Church, 405 Merritt St., St. Catharines on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. followed by cremation. The family of Ralph Lawry are sad to announce his sudden passing on Monday, October 15, 2007. Ralph leaves behind his beloved partner and best friend Kate, his loving daughters Rebecca (Christopher) and Jessica (Josh), his grandsons Luke, Jack and Crosby and Kate's sons Daniel and Matthew (Robyn). Ralph will also be missed by family and friends in Australia, sisters Pat, Robin (Barrie) and their famillies.

DROGANES, Constantine (Gus) - Born August 26, 1926 in Apidia, Greece. passed away peacefully in his 81st year in St. Catharines on July 20, 2007. Beloved husband of Mary. Adored father of Georgina and Constance. Survived by his much loved brother Peter, sister-in-law Ann, and nieces Gina (Harry) and Jackie (Peter) of St. Catharines, as well as his loving brother Athanasios (Paraskevi) and sister Eleni (Kyriakos) of Greece. He leaves behind loved nephews and nieces in Greece. Gus immigrated to St. Catharines from Apidia, Greece in 1952 at 26 years of age. After serving his country with valour in WWII he made Canada his beloved home. In October of 1952 he brought his younger brother Peter to Canada. Together they worked tirelessly to build successful restaurant businesses and were well known, much liked and much respected owners of the St. Catharines landmark Diana Sweets. He was a long-time member and supporter of St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church. His faith was very important to him. For more than three years Gus bravely battled Parkinson's disease, always with a smile and always to the end, living with dignity and by his motto, "Never give up hope". Friends will be received at the PATRICK J. DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL (39 Court St., St. Catharines.) on Saturday, July 21, 2007 from 7-9 pm and Sunday, July 22, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm with prayers Sunday at 7:30 pm. Funeral service to take place on Monday, July 23, 2007 at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church (585 Niagara St.) at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. WILKINS, David Beresford passed away while surrounded by his family Friday July 20, 2007 at University Hospital in London in his 68th year. Husband of Cheryl J. Wilkins. Predeceased in 1991 by first wife Ruth Wilkins (nee Irwin). Father of Catherine Rabideau (Ken), Shelley Wilkins (Bev) and Sean Wilkins (Tanya). Grandfather of Nathan, Ryan, Sarah, Timothy, Tyler, Carley and Nina. Also survived by sister Ann Pelesh (Jovan) and sister in law Joan Wilkins. Predeceased by brother Robert Wilkins. Dave will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Dave worked at Rockwell International (MSS) for more than 29 years, enjoyed supporting several charities such as Children's International, Goodfellows and World Vision sponsorship. The family will receive guests Monday July 23, 2007 from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 1-2 p.m. at the Bowman Funeral Home, 4 Victoria Ave. A funeral service will be held Tuesday July 24, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Godfrey, Keith F. (Former member of the Queen's Own Rifles of Canada and long time employee of Weldwood of Canada). passed away at the Penetanguishene Hospital on Thursday July 19th, 2007. Keith Godfrey of Port McNicoll was in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Norma Godfrey. Dear father of Marie Fairbanks and her late husband Jerry of Waubaushene, Jerry Godfrey of Brantford, Randy Godfrey and his wife Joy of Crysler, David Godfrey and his wife Lynn of Huntsville, Karla MacKay and her husband Ron of Dorset. Fondly remembered by his 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Nicholls Funeral Home on Sunday July 22nd from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow. Sadly missed by Anne Deslippe, Terry McBride, Mary Charbonneau, Alice Maitre, Patrick Coyle & Mary Pare. Predeceased by her nephews Michael McBride & David Coyle. Many great nieces & nephews also survive. Marion retired as a nurse after many years of dedicated service. Visiting was held at the JAMES H.
