Mr. Francesco Greco
October 22, 1923 - July 21, 2007

Greco, Francesco passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 21st,2007. Beloved husband of Maria for 58 years. Cherished father of Lena (Fedele), Tony (Dina) and Dominic. Proud Nonno of Melinda (Rick), Stephanie (Sean) Laura and Victoria. "Big Nonno" to Mathew and Mikayla. Francesco also leaves behind his brother "Micuzzo" and sisters Lina and Ida in Italy. He is also fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews in Toronto, Italy and New Jersey. Francesco was extremely dedicated to his family, both near and far. He worked diligently as a new immigrant in Canada managing to purchase both a home and a business - Runnymede Barber Shop (where he worked until his retirement). Francesco enjoyed many sunny days in Costambar as was his garden. He will certainly be missed but never forgotten. Resting at the Highland Funeral Home and Cremation Centre "Scarborough Chapel" at 3280 Sheppard Avenue East (just west of Warden) from 5-9 p.m. on Monday & Tuesday. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. at Epiphany of Our Lord Church (3200 Pharmacy Avenue) In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sick Kids Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the Family.

Mr. Antonio Ciappa
July 7, 1932 - July 23, 2007

Antonio Ciappa - It is with deep sadness the family announces the passing of Antonio on Monday, July 23, 2007 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of 55 years to Maria. Loving father of Grace (Ron Markwell), Nicola (Carmela) and Esterina. Proud Nonno of Alexandra, Marianna, Erica and Anthony. Antonio will be sadly missed by his relatives and friends.
Family and friends will be received at the HIGHLAND FUNERAL HOME, MARKHAM CHAPEL (northeast corner of Hwy 404 & 16th Ave) , on Wednesday from 6-9 pm and on Thursday from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church (3200 Pharmacy Ave. north of Finch) on Friday, July 27, 2007 at 10 am. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.

Mrs. Joan Bryce
June 5, 1923 - July 23, 2007

At St. Joseph's Hospital on Monday, July 23, 2007, in her 85th year.
Joan Bryce, beloved wife of the late Victor Bryce.
Loving mother of Chris, Jim and Terry, Gord and Vivien, all of Hamilton.
Proud grandmother of Ian, Erin and Victoria.
Dear sister of Margaret (Sim), and Bernard. Predeceased by sister Aileen.
Joan was a devoted member of Laidlaw Memorial United Church and a lifetime member of the Girl Guides of Canada for over 57 years.
The family will receive friends at the L.G. WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 151 Ottawa Street North on Wednesday, July 25 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral Service to take place on Thursday, July 26 at Laidlaw Memorial United Church (next door to Funeral Home) at 11 o'clock.
Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Laidlaw United Church Accessible Entrance Fund, Girl Guides-Camp Kiawa or the charity of your choice.
The family would like to send their sincere thanks to Reverend Doug Moore, the staff at Extendicare and St. Joseph's Healthcare for all of their kindness and compassion.

Peacefully on Friday July 20, 2007in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Gerry. Loving mother of Carol Kelly (Bob Wagstaff), Sandy Hammond (George), Marilyn Carden (Louis Bernard), Pat Birnie (Ian) and Paul Kelly (Camille). Loving Granny to15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Jim Macaluso (Pat), Rose Black (and the late Frank Macaluso). Visitation will be held at the Scott Funeral Home, 420 Dundas St. East, Mississauga (one block west of Cawthra) on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 and Monday from 12-1p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 1p.m. Interment Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lung Association or Canadian Diabetes Association

Toffolo, Ferruccio - The family sadly announces the sudden, peaceful passing of Ferruccio at his home on July 21, 2007 at 74 years of age. Beloved husband of Mila, loving father of Patricia (Tony), Sara (Peter) and Paul. Devoted Nonno to Rachel, Matthew, Adam, Michael and Ryan. Sadly missed by his 3 sisters and their families in Italy and his in-laws and his nephews and nieces in Canada. Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 420 Dundas Street East, Mississauga (one block west of Cawthra) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Sts. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, 4070 Central Pkwy East Mississauga on Thursday July 26, at 10:00 a.m. Entombment Assumption Cemetery.

JOHNSTON, Walter T. peacefully passed away in Kitchener, Ontario on Sunday July 22nd, 2007 at the age of 83. Walter is predeceased by his dear wife Margaret and his daughter Eileen. Sadly missed by his daughter Lynn, his grandchildren Joanne, Laurie, Darlene, Stacey, Kimberley, and Stewart. Loving great grandfather and great great grandfather to 13. Friends may be received for a memorial service at the SCOTT "MISSISSAUGA" FUNERAL HOME, 420 Dundas St. East on Wednesday July 25th, 2007 at 1 p.m. Burial to take place on Friday July 27th, 2007 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery (Rideau) 4239 Sources Rd., Dollard des Ormeaux, Quebec at 2 p.m. in lieu of flowers donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

With sadness the family announces the passing of Pat on July 23, 2007 at William Osler Health Centre at the age of 58. Beloved wife of Anthony and loving mother of Simon and Sarah. Dearly remembered by her brother John, sisters-in-law Pam and her husband Luciano, Joan and her husband Joe, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, life-long friends Sheila and Bernie, and by all who knew her. Pat will be remembered for her loving and forgiving nature.
