Evan Christopher Coldwell - It is with deep sadness and heartbreak, that we announce the death of Evan Christopher Coldwell, age 22, of Coldbrook, Kings County, who died tragically in a motor vehicle accident on Saturday, July 28th, 2007, at Cold Lake, Alberta, where he had been living and working for the past 15 months.
Evan had a kind and generous soul, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His outgoing nature and ready smile endeared him to all. Evan was a true friend, wonderful brother and son. His willingness to assist someone in need came from his heart. His strength of character, honesty and integrity will always be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
Born on October 22nd, 1984, in Windsor, Hants County, Nova Scotia, Evan is survived by his parents: father, Philip Coldwell (Shelley) of Coldbrook; his mother, Mariann Reading, of Whitehorse, YT; his brothers, Ryan and Nicholas, Whitehorse, YT; grandmother, Ferne Coldwell, Avonport; his girlfriend, Stephanie Sampson; aunts and uncles, Kent Reading (Rose Davidson), Windsor; Susan Coldwell (Blair), Fall River; Bill (Karen) Coldwell, Windsor; Linda (Vaughn) Marriott, Grand Pre`; Valerie (Bruce) Stailing, Tantallon; Joy (Jim) Hamilton, Port Williams; Angela (John) VanDeriet, Shubenacadie; Graham (Allison) Coldwell, Edmonton, AB; Stephen Coldwell, Avonport; Lisa Coldwell, Ottawa, ON; great aunts and uncles, Freda Henderson, New Glasgow; Thelma Mosher, Dartmouth; Muriel (Gene) Lowe, Windsor; Myron Reading, Kentville.
Evan was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Everett “Chub” and Marion Reading; paternal grandfather, William “Bill” Coldwell.
Visitation will be from 1 - 2 p.m. Sunday, in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, Windsor.
Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 5th, 2007, in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Jeffrey Hosick officiating, followed by a reception in the Lindsay Family Reception Centre, 184 King Street.
Interment will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 8th, 2007, at the Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor.

Joyce, Albert Lawrence "Lorne" - passed away suddenly, on Wednesday August 1, 2007 at the Kingston General Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Joyce (July 23, 2007). Loving father of Brian (Joyce), Kerry (Kelly), Kim (Steve) Dailey, and Blair (Lola). Cherished grandfather of Amy (Steve) Kiley, Randy (Julie), Craig, Stefanie, Brandon, Ryan, Jayme and Kyle. Great grandfather of Aidan. Predeceased by his parents Augusta and Albert Joyce, and his two brothers George and Ronald. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Central Chapel of Gordon F. Tompkins, 49 Colborne Street (at Clergy Street) on Tuesday August 7, 2007 between the hours of 7-9 p.m.

Reid, Clement Michael passed away peacefully at the Saint John & St. Stephen’s Nursing Home on Saturday, August 4, 2007. Born in Saint John a son of the late John and Julia Reid.
Clement will be sadly missed by a sister, Cleta Gallant several nieces and nephews, many close friends and a special girl, Marissa.
Besides his parents, Clement was predeceased by four brothers and four sisters.
Resting at Castle “Fallsview Chapel” Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. with visitation on Monday, August 6, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held from St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church on Tuesday August 7, 2007 at 10:00 am with a reception to follow at the Fallsview Family Reception Center. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Donation's may be made to charity of choice.

Dear father of Marilyn (Gerry) Salvatore, Trevor Hewitt, and Heather Ransom. also survived by grandchildren Jessica and Christopher Salvatore, Miranda, and Alanna Ransom. An avid Cricketer for many years as captain of the West St. Catharines Cricket Club. Dedicated choir member of St. Thomas Anglican Church for 55 years. Faithful supporter of Aston Villa Soccer Club. Mr. Hewitt is at the NIAGARA ST. BURD, Albert James "Sonny" - A resident of Chatham passed away Friday August 3, 2007 at the CKHA Public General Campus at 63 years. Son of the late Howard and Julia Burd. Husband of Lynn for 44 years. Father of Deb Dickinson (Ron) of B.C and Mike Burd (Debbie) of Chatham, the late Richard (1983) and the late Shirley Ann (1963). Brother of Shirley, Janet, Betty, Jack, George and Wayne all of Chatham. Grandfather of Jamie Burd (Pam), Kayla and Austin, Derrick, Kenny and Brandi. Great grandfather of Cameron and Landon. Survived by brother and sister in law Bill and Wendy, Zig and Gail, George and Cheryl, Kenny and the late Linda. Also survived by special friends Greg and Joyce. Sonny will be remembered by several nieces and nephews. Sonny enjoyed his many years at Active Canada and he will be fondly remembered.
