LAYTON, Darylene passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 23rd, 2007,at Lakeridge Health - Oshawa. Beloved wife Carl Layton for 49 years. Loving daughter of Muriel and the late Lawrence Stewart. Dear mother of Janet and her husband Gary McMinn, Bobby and his wife Bonnie, and Carla and her husband John Osier. Proud grandmother of Shannon, Ashley, Brittany, Eric, Sarah, James and Jeffery and great-grandmother of Daniel. Friends will be received at the MOUNT LAWN RECEPTION CENTRE (21 Garrard Road, Whitby) on Sunday, August 26th, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday August 27th at 2:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Hovianseian, Robert "Bob," died suddenly on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at the age of 55. Devoted husband of Christine. Cherished father of Clint Ewing and Shannon Reid. Beloved grandad of Sarah Reid, Trinity Ewing and Hunter Reid. Dear son of John and the late Olive Hovianseian. Bob will also be sadly missed by many other family members and friends. Family will receive friends at Mount Lawn Reception Centre (21 Garrard Road, Whitby) on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday, August 27, 2007 at 11:00 am. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edwin Gerald (Gerry) on Tuesday, August 21, 2007. He is the son of the late Edwin (Ted) and the late Francis Wilsdon. Beloved husband of Helen (Archer). Loving father of the late Dennis Edlington (Joanne), Judy McKay, Lauren Wismer (Wes) all of Woodstock and Joanne Simpson (Wayne) of Kintore. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his sister Dolores Tuck. Gerry was born and raised in Oxford Centre. In 1953 he graduated from the Ontario College of Pharmacy in Toronto and began his work as a pharmacist in both Woodstock and London. Gerry's family provided temporary homes to many newcomers to Woodstock and Ted's Log Cabins, on Norwich Avenue. Funeral Service will be held at Memorial Funeral Home, 1559 Fanshawe Park Road (east of Highbury) on Friday, August 24, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior. Memorial donations to Cancer Research greatly appreciated.

Predeceased by her loving first husband Stefan Piotrowski, Bracknell, U.K. and later by her caring second husband Waclaw Hawdur, Etobicoke, ON. Cherished mother of son Richard Piotrowski and his wife Annie of Macroom, Ireland; daughter Anna Metcalfe and her husband Roy of Ancaster, ON; daughter Elizabeth Robbens and her husband John of Sunningdale, U.K. and her late son John Piotrowski of London, ON. She will be dearly missed by her stepdaughter Barbara Kostuch of Bobcaygeon and stepson Martin Hawdur and his wife Anita of Kanata, ON and their families. Predeceased by sisters Lonia Kunicki and Wanda Maik and brothers Eddie and Arthur Fudali. She is survived by her loving sisters Genevieve Klimek of New Jersey, U.S.A. and Helena Rawski of London, ON. Nanny will be missed by her grandchildren Paul, Julia and Anna Piotrowski and great-grandchildren Olivia, Sean, Adam and Colin Metcalfe; and Stephen and Helen Robbens. A special aunty to her nieces and nephews. Remembered fondly by many friends. A proud Veteran of the Polish Free Army in WWII.
