SKAF, Yvonne (nee Alkara) passed away suddenly September 4, 2007 at the age of 78. Predeceased by her husband Youssef (1993). Beloved Mother of Nicolas and wife Nahla, Souhail and wife Mirna, Hani and wife Remonda all of Windsor and Lena Aoun and husband Tony of Lebanon. Predeceased by her sons Elie and Tony. Mother in Law of Rose Skaf. 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Dear sister of Sami Alkara and Nicolas Alkara and wife Daad. Predeceased by two sisters Marie Dakhil and Georgette Alkara and five brothers George, Michel, Elie, Joseph and John. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Yvonne was a member of the Altar Society of St. Peters Maronite Church. Visitation will be held at the Janisse Bros - Marcotte Funeral Home 1139 Ouellette Ave. from 7-9 Wednesday and 2-5 and 7-9 Thursday. Parish prayers Thursday at 8 pm. The funeral service will be held Friday September 7 2007 at 9:15 am from the funeral home to St. Peters Maronite Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery. It is with great sadness that her family announces the peaceful passing of Olga, at home, in her 88th year, surrounded by her loving family and dear friends Teresa and Graham. Predeceased by son Malcolm and son-in-law Norm. She will be deeply missed by Dave, her beloved husband of 65 years, Linda her cherished daughter, grandchildren Russ (Kate), Natilee (Jason), Amanda (Ryan), surrogate grandchildren Nick and Lindsay and great-grandchildren Summer and Carson. Olga was a long time member of Big Sisters and I.O.D.E., an avid bridge player and former member of the Hamilton Golf and Country Club. The family wishes to thank Dr. Taniguchi, the palliative care group and staff of Ward 4Y at McMaster University Hospital and the Para-Med team for their wonderful care and compassion. They also extend a very special thank you to Kim McCallum, family friend and doctor, for her incredible support. The family will receive friends at the DODSWORTH and BROWN Funeral Home, ANCASTER CHAPEL, 378 Wilson Street East on Friday, September 7th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Cremation to follow. Loving father of Dorothy (Orval), Joe (Valerie), Janet, Danny (Joan), Robert (Sharon), James (Lois), Betty (Jeff), David Meloche, all of Windsor and Suzanne Farough of Springhill, Florida. 18 grandchildren, 23 Great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. Dear brother of Fred Farrand, Alice Beliveau, Gladys Klapowish and her husband Jake all of Windsor and predeceased by 9 siblings. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Farrand was a former employee of Ford Motor Co. for 45 years and was an avid bowler in the Senior Citizens League. Predeceased by his parents John and Mildred Rawlings (nee. Marshall). Survived by sister Mrs. Dorothy Rawlings-Clapp of Saline, Michigan and brother Mr. Edward Rawlings of Windsor. At Mr. Rawlings request there will be no visitation. A memorial service to celebrate John's life will be held at the Chatham Retirement Resort, with date and time yet to be determined. On September 4, 2007 Pam Bilyk of Sherwood Park passed away peacefully at the age of 48. She is lovingly remembered by her twins Zane and Travis and their father Larry, her mother June Thompson, her sister Yvonne (Olaf) Melvie, brothers Wayne (Doreen) Connelly and Bob (Terri) Thompson, as well as numerous relatives, many good friends and her BMO family of 27 years.
Pam was predeceased by her father Archie.
A celebration of Pam's life will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home, south of Wye Road on Range Road 232, Sherwood Park.

ELLIOTT, WILLIAM EDWARD: After a brief illness with leukemia passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Shirley for 57 years. Dear father of Scott, Brad (Mary Anne), Cindy (Dan) and Paul and beloved grandfather of Mark and Paige Elliott. He is survived by his brother Douglas of London and his sister-in-law Barb Sharpe (Roy).
