Loving father of Bruce and his wife Nancy McDonald of Windsor and Diane Skomash of Saskatchewan. Dear Stepfather of Mrs. David (Carolyn) Breault of Bobcaygeon, Frank and his wife Charlene Moscardelli of Windsor. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Loving mother of the late George Kaitsis and Ann her husband Bill Slifkas. Sister of Alex. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. Resting at the Highland Funeral Home, 3280 Sheppard Ave. East (just west of Warden Ave.), from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of a much beloved mother and grandmother. Eileen Elizabeth Nikota born July 4, 1918 died peacefully on Thursday, September 6, 2007 in Komoka, ON surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late John Nikota (1992). Loving mother of James P. Nikota (Kathryn) of Brantford, Brian R. Nikota (Catherine) of London and Gary J. Nikota (Corinne) of Windsor. Cherished grandmother to Gabe, Jake, Katie, John Paul, Elizabeth, Emilie and Ben. Predeceased by her sisters Rita Witkowski, Mary Lawless, and Helen Dale. Also survived by many dear nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Country Terrace Nursing Home in Komoka for their loving and exemplary care. Family and friends will be received at the Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers will be held at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. John Vianney Church 385 Dieppe Street, Windsor on Monday, September 10, 2007 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens. KOTOVICH, Marjorie Louise (nee Hawkins) passed away peacefully on September 7th, 2007 in Windsor at 73 years of age. Predeceased by her husband Joseph (1984). Also predeceased by her parents Herbert and Mary Hawkins. Friends will be received at the Morris Sutton Funeral Home and Chapel on Monday September 10th, 2007 from 11 a.m. until service time at 12 noon. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens. Marjorie was a former employee of Ford Motor Company, Grace Hospital and was a past president of the Art Gallery of Windsor Volunteer’s Association.

HAWKINS - Suddenly after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's, Margaret “Margie” Hawkins passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at Kensington Nursing Home in her 71st year. Loving mother of John and his wife Marianne, Ken and his wife Judy, predeceased by son Michael (2004), survived by his wife Margaret. Dear grandma to Marianne and Melissa, nana to Lee-Anne, Michael, Kiel, Madyson, Jordie and Jamie. Dear sister of Janet Horton and brother Bob Hawkins. Predeceased by her siblings Fred, Cyril, Jean, Harvey, Kenny and Dorothy. Margie will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 1997 Dundas St. E. (at Wavell) on Monday, September 10, 2007 at 11 a.m. (visitation one hour prior). Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society in memory of Margie. Loving father of Frank and wife Peggy. Cherished grandfather of Laura and Gillian. Bill will be fondly remembered by his step-children Pamela, Wilma, Freda and their families. He will also be sadly missed by his extended family and many friends in Canada, Ireland and the United Kingdom. Visitation will be held at the Glen Oaks Memorial Chapel & Reception Centre, 3164 Ninth Line (Dundas/403) in Oakville, , on Wednesday, September 12 from 5 to 8pm.
