Sylvio Aurele Bellemore, 87 yrs., passed away on Aug. 28, 2007 of Chatham Retirement Resort, formerly of Belle River. Beloved husband of 62 years to Jeanne (Bissonnette). Dear father of Paul and wife Patricia of Oil Springs, Ont., Joseph and wife Rosemary of Ottawa, Ont. Loving grandfather of Angela and husband Mike, Amy, Nicholas and Lee. Dear brother of Mary Anne Dagenais, Raymond Bellemore and wife Marcella, Jeannette Marchand and husband Victor. Predeceased by sisters Florence (1961) and Emelda (1935). Visiting Fri., Aug. 31, 2007 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral procession leaves Sat., Sept 1, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. from Melady Funeral Home, 572 Notre Dame St., Belle River, to St. Simon & St. Jude for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment at St. Simon & St. Jude Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Parkinson Society of Canada. A tree will be planted in memory of Sylvio Bellemore in the Melady Heritage Forest. A dedication will be held Sept. 30, 2007. All are welcome.

Carpenter, Herb, veteran of WW II, member of Masonic Caledonian Lodge, passed away peacefully, at the IOOF Nursing Home, Barrie with his family by his side, on Sunday, September 3rd, 2007 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Dorothy Carpenter. Loving father of John and Mary and Dave and Sheila. Cherished grandfather of Carol and Keith, Nadine and Eric and Ainslee. and loving great grandfather of Simon and Claire. Dear brother of Agatha and predeceased by Annie, Murray and Walter.

Entered into rest at the Huronia District Hospital with her family by her side early Tuesday September 4, 2007 . Beloved wife of 57 years to Hector Albert Adams. Loving mother of Tim, Peggy (Andy Parent), Dan and Rose (Marc Fortin). Dear grandmother of Adam Parent and his wife Kerri, Mandy Branham and her husband Larry, and Wesley Parent and his fiance Jan. Great grandmother of Ethan and Noah Parent, and Megan and Jacob Branham. Sister of Nina Toutant, Nellie Caswell, Marion Westlake ( & Howard) and the late Lloyd Simms (& Edna). Loving mother of Ben and his wife Sandra, Sandra and her husband Sam Guadagnolo, Diane and her husband Joe Delmastro and the late Josephine Iannaci. Cherished grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Sister to Tony, Victoria and Stella. Predeceased by her brothers Nick, Rocky, and John; and sisters Sanna, Angie, Mary and Anne.
