Mr. Calvin "Josh" Lewis
July 25, 1946 - September 17, 2007

LEWIS, Calvin 'Josh' passed away suddenly on September 17th, 2007 at the age of 61. Beloved husband of Geraldine for 39 years. Devoted father of Edward and his wife Erin, Rodney, and Darren. Proud grandfather of Mitchell and Jacob. Dear brother of Tony and his wife Carol, and Beverley and her husband Spencer Walsh. Calvin was predeceased by siblings Louise Maddox, Gerald Lewis and Sandra Rios. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews, family, friends and co-workers. Friends will be received at the MOUNT LAWN RECEPTION CENTRE (21 Garrard Road, Whitby) on Saturday September 22nd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Sunday September 23rd at 1 p.m. Cremation will follow.
Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

Mrs. Marjorie Laureen Harkness
July 25, 1915 - September 18, 2007

Peacefully at Victoria Hospital, London on Tuesday, September 18, 2007, Marjorie Laureen Harkness (nee: Partridge) passed away in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late William Harkness. Loving mother of the late Marleen (the late Blaine) Wall, Bettie (Dave) MacKenzie, Bill (June) Harkness and Patricia (Guy) Macher. Dear grandmother to Susie (Andrew) MacKenzie-Gowdy, Nanci MacKenzie, Justin (Nicole) Wall, Scott (Seong Min) MacKenzie, Jennifer (Dan) Robertson, Megan (Dave) Soyka, Jordan Harkness (Feng Yang), Craig (Evie) Macher, Ted Macher, Kolten Macher, Jonathan Harkness and Elyza Macher. She will be missed by her great grandchildren Hailey, Valerie, Caitlin, Jenna, Gavin, Emily and Jackson. Also surviving is her sister Gladys (Bert) Lethaby. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings Frank Partridge, Harold Partridge, Marie Ashton, Trudy Nall, Alberta Nielsen and Alice Hammond. Appreciation goes out to the staff and friends at Ashwood Manor, Lambeth, Ontario. Service of Remembrance will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation 2 hours prior. Inurnment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery on Monday, September 24, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Dr. Terry Ingram officiating. Memorial donations to Oakridge Presbyterian Church or the Arthritis Society greatly appreciated.

Mr. Rodney "Rod" Nostadt
March 25, 1966 - September 19, 2007

Rodney "Rod" Nostadt, 41 years, passed away suddenly, on September 19, 2007. Late of Lakeshore. Loving son of Carolyn Nostadt (nee Maitre) and the late Joseph (1992). Dear brother to Anthony; Joseph and wife Jennifer; Maurice; Cindy and husband Bradley Amonite; and James. Dear grandson to Pauline Esipu, loving uncle Rod to Eric and Rachel Amonite. He will be remembered by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Rod was a 20 year employee of Family Traditions (Carriere) (Bonduelle). Visiting Saturday, from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at The Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh. Prayers Sunday at 7:30 p.m. The funeral will be held on Monday, September 24, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Anne Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Robert Couture will be the celebrant. Interment at St. Anne Cemetery. In kindness, a donation to the Red Cross or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Rod in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held in the fall of 2008.

Josef Bartnik
March 6, 1918 - September 23, 2007

BARTNIK, Josef passed away peacefully September 23, 2007 at Hotel Dieu-Grace Hospital, in his 89th year. Predeceased by his wife Cecylia (Feb. 2007). He is survived by his children, Edward and his wife Nicole Bartnik, George and his wife Liz Bartnik and Irene Bertling of Edmonton. Also survived by his grandchildren Janet and husband Jack Chalut, Jennifer Bartnik, Joe Bartnik, Philippe and Emilie Bartnik all of Windsor and Chadwick, Clayton and Jennifer Bertling all of Edmonton. Great grandfather of Dalton, Chelsea, Dawson, Madison, Haili and Aiden. We would like to thank Dr. Sharon Doyle and the caring and compassionate nursing staff at Hotel Dieu-Grace Hospital for making the last few weeks of his life comfortable. Visitation will be held at Janisse Bros-Marcotte Funeral Home 1139 Ouellette Avenue on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral service will be leaving the funeral home Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at 9:15 a.m. to Holy Trinity Polish Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Donation may be made to the charity of your choice.

Mrs. Sandra Simpson
July 4, 1942 - September 20, 2007

SIMPSON, Sandra passed away unexpectedly on Thursday September 20th, 2007 at the age of 65. Beloved wife for 45 years of Robert. Loving mother of Todd. Cherished daughter of Valeria and the late Lorne Begg. Friends will be received at the MOUNT LAWN RECEPTION CENTRE (21 Garrard Road, Whitby) on Sunday September 23rd, 2007 from 4-5 p.m. at which time a Memorial Service will commence to celebrate Sandra's life and will be held in the chapel. Cremation will follow. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

KNOLL, Lieselotte passed away peacefully with her family by her side on September 19, 2007 at the age of 83. Predeceased by Rudolf (1999). Beloved Mother of Ilona and Bob Pouget and family of Windsor, Jack Knoll and family of Simcoe and Bernard Knoll and family of Windsor. Dear Grandmother of Meighan and Steve Truant, Rob, Holly and Jeremy Cottingham, Ashleigh, Jeremy, BJ and April Knoll and Rachel and Hank. Great grandmother of 10 great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Werner Niesel and wife Mia of Germany. Aunt to Mike and Jurgen and the late Susann, and great aunt of Sandy and Sebastian, Mike, Melanie and Robert. Visitation will be held at Janisse Bros-Marcotte Funeral Home 1139 Ouellette Ave, from 2-4 and 7-9pm Friday September 21, 2007. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home Saturday September 22, 2007 at 1:00 pm followed by interment at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

WELSH, Amelia (nee Burke) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at Kingston General Hospital. Beloved wife of the late John Welsh. Loving mother of Helen Watson (Don), Douglas Welsh and Sharen Paisley(Edward). Sadly missed by 10 grandchidlren and 12 great grandchildren Dear sister of Evelina and Geraldine. Predeceased by brother Reuben. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at 2 p.m. at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 127 Butler Street. McCOY, MARILYN CHARLOTTE passed away suddenly, at the Peel Memorial Hospital in Brampton on Thursday, September 20, 2007 in her 74th year.
Beloved wife of Raymond McCoy. Loving mother of Elizabeth Dorrington and her husband Joe and much loved Nanny of Helen and Graeme Dorrington. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Myrtle Cormier, her brother Frank Cormier and her sister Betty Cormier.
Friends are invited to attend visitation at the BURKE FUNERAL HOME, Belleville on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Monday from 1-2 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, September 24, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Belleville Cemetery. Memorial donations to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
