Beloved wife of the late Thomas Hanagan (Oct. 7, 1997) and dearly loved mother of Larry and his wife Anne of Lambeth, Linda and her husband Dave Olson of St. Thomas, Louise and her husband Dennis Angyal of St. Thomas.
Loved grandmother of Jason and his wifeJennifer Olson, Trevor and Randy Hanagan, Tyler Angyal, Jody Olson, Melanie and Reanna Hanagan, Natalia and Julia Angyal.
Dear sister of Henry Penner and his wife Thelma of St. Thomas, Bob Penner and his wife Tina of Winnipeg, Alvin and his wife Margaret of Winnipeg, Roy Penner and his wife Emelyn of Calgary, Leander Penner and his wife Shirley of Steinbach, Man., Wilma and her husband Dick Penner of Steinbach, Ruth and her husband Peter Klassen of Winnipeg, Dorothy and her husband Denis Reimer of Steinbach and Gladys and her husband Kevin Rucker of Colorado.
Predeceased by 2 sisters Lottie Friesen and Adeline Penner and a brother Gordon Penner.
Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas where funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Elmdale cemetery.
Visitation Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Remembrances may be made to the Plains Baptist Church Building Fund.
A donation will be made to the Memory Gardens of Pinafore Park as a remembrance to Betty.

Dear brother of Agnes Mole of London, Dorothy Brock, Cecil Waite of St. Thomas, Kathleen McDonald and step-brother of Winnie Mills and Aileen Thorpe, both of St. Thomas.
Dear grandfather of Shawn, Scott and Shelly Waite and Barry and Mark Gregory and Cheryl Unholzer, Noel Harrison and Kate Kolar.
Sadly missed by 5 great grandchildren Jessie, Cody, Brittney, Jarrette and Cody.
