McNORTON, Jeanette Marie (nee Gagnon) - Jeanette Marie McNorton (nee Gagnon), 79 Years. Died peacefully on October 3, 2007 after a short battle with cancer at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus. Predeceased by her husband Alfred (2005). Loving mother of Ed McNorton and Pat of Tecumseh, Judy and Michael Adam of Georgetown, Rick McNorton and Cathy Morand of Tecumseh, Michael McNorton and Michelle Whaling of Tilbury, Gary McNorton and Paula of Tecumseh. Loving grandmother to Michael, Melissa, Jessica, Julie, Michelle, Erica, Craig, Jennifer, Christopher, Martina and greeting her in heaven Krista. Great grandmother to Cadence, Jacob, Aleksandar, Maksim and Jakob. Sadly missed by sisters Gloria Moynahan, Claire (Buddy) and brothers Raymond, Don (Kelly) and Richard. Jeanette led a happy and quiet life and enjoyed her family and always enjoyed a good laugh. In kindness, memorial donations made to the Visitation Parish Building Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy. Balogh, Mary Doreen (nee Dubbin) passed away peacefully, on Thursday October 4, 2007 at Trillium Hospital Mississauga in her 93rd year. Survived by husband David. Beloved mother of James Jivcoff (Judy), Elizabeth Garrie (Ron). Predeceased by husband Sam Jivcoff. Mother of William Jivcoff. Granny will be sadly missed by 5 grandchildren David Garrie (Michelle), Susan MacIntosh (Shawn), Scott Garrie (Debbie), Richard Garrie (Lisa) and Barry Jivcoff. Also by her 10 great grandchildren Phillip, Kevin and Patrick Garrie, Kaitlyn and Grant MacIntosh, Andrew and Mark Garrie, Evan, Adam and Owin Garrie. Predeceased by brothers Daniel and Michael Dubbin and sister Anne Reise. Survived by sisters-in-law Idela and Helen Dubbin.
Visitation will take place at Glen Oaks Reception Centre, 3164 9th Line, (at Dundas), Oakville on Monday from 11:00 - 1:00 pm. Funeral sevice will take place in the chapel at 1:00 pm. Cremation. Memorial donation may be made to the charity of your choice.

A host of nieces and nephews also survive. Predeceased by a son David, his wife Brenda, brothers Mark and Tom and a sister Donna Jean Mooney. Valerie Chiesa (nee Madge), 82 years, passed away peacefully with family by her side on October 4, 2007 at Windsor Regional Hospital-Metropolitan Campus. Beloved wife of the late Delkie John Chiesa. Loving mother of David and wife Mary (nee Belanger) and Suzanne and husband Ben Klundert. Cherished Granny to Christopher, Sarah, and Jessica Chiesa and Brent and Megan Klundert. Dear sister to Lois and husband Don MacFarlane, Anthony Madge and wife Margaret and the late Kenneth Madge. Will also be missed by sister-in-law Etna Stefani (the late John Stefani) and brother-in-law Gino Chiesa and wife Joan. Valerie was a devoted member of St. Mark’s by-the-Lake Church having served on the Chancel Guild and was an active volunteer with many church fund raising events. Visitation will be held at the Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh on Monday from 2-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. A Service of Light will be held at 8:30 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. Mark’s by-the-Lake Church 150 St. Mark’s Road on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Kevin George will be the celebrant. Cremation will follow and the interment of cremated remains will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.
