CRIPPS, Eleanor passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at N.H.S. General Site at the age of 65. Loving wife of Peter for 27 years. Devoted mother of Dennis Prediger (Sharon), Toni-Lynn Papineau (Denis) and the late Hughie Prediger. Cherished grandma of Devin, Shaylea and Alisha. Friends will be received at the PATRICK J. DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL (39 Court St., St. Catharines) on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 from 11:00 am until the time of service in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 pm. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

PALMER, John Francis "Jack", passed away at the CKHA, Sydenham Campus on Friday, October 19, 2007. Born in La Salle, Quebec, 75 years ago, son of the late Hupton Palmer and Winifred Mitchell. His wife Johanna (Heemsbergen) predeceased in 1992. Surviving are two sons Gary and wife Laura of Ridgetown and Daniel of Copenhagen, ON, three grandsons Ryan, Bradley and Chance, three brothers James, Clifford and George Palmer, six sisters Grace, Roberta, Lorina, Elsie, Nora and Faith. Predeceased by one sister Mary and a grand daughter Alicia. Jack was a retiree of International Harvester. At Jack's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment was at Pardoville Union Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the Bowman Funeral Home, 4 Victoria Avenue, Chatham. Contributions to the Alzheimer or Cancer Societies would be appreciated.

MYERS, Hazel Oneta, passed away at the Tilbury Manor on Saturday, October 20, 2007. Born in Raleigh Township, 90 years ago, daughter of the late Albert Makey and Mariette Wright. Her husband Leonard Myers predeceased in 1993. Surviving are one niece Shirley and husband Gordon Knight of Chatham and one sister Neva Smith of Blenheim. Cremation has taken place. Interment of the cremains will follow in B.C. later. Arrangements were entrusted to the Bowman Funeral Home, 4 Victoria Avenue, Chatham.

Loving mother of Wendy McGeachy (Leslie) of Belleville, Earl Broadbridge (Dianne) of Tweed, Barbara Anne Broadbridge (Bob Cole) of Belleville, Lee Broadbridge of Belleville, David Russell (Carol) and Junior Von Golazewski (Kathy) all of British Columbia, and Ilona Carleton (Keith) of Magnanawan. Predeceased by her daughter Tina Marie. Loved by her grandchildren Kirk, Karlie (Greg), Josh, Andy, Chante, Catherine, Angel and Arron. Also loved by her great granddaughters Alexis, Leigha, and Madison. Dear sister of Eugene McGrath (Elaine), Florence Leveque (Wayne), Pat McGrath, Maureen Rexe (Steve), Donna Lee (Alan), Camilla Summers (Ray), Garth McGrath (MaryJean), and Glen McGrath (Heather). Bookal, Janice passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at Credit Valley Hospital at the age of 42. Loving mother of Carissa and Warren. Cherished daughter of Val Anderson and Dudley Bookal and step-daughter of Fitzroy Anderson. Beloved sister of Marcia (Erik), Jackie, Daniel, Vengis and Karen. Precious aunt of Simeonne. Janice will be sadly missed by her many friends, co-workers and family.
