FOWLER, KATIE ANN passed away peacefully, at the Kingston General Hospital, with her family by her side, on Friday, October 26, 2007 in her 26th year. Beloved daughter of Wayne and Sandra Fowler. Loving sister of Shauna (Andrew) Kingstone and Kristi (Paul) Marucci. Dear granddaughter of Joe and Adeline Fowler and Elizabeth "Betty" Woodman and the late Albert "Bert" Woodman. Will be dearly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Friends will be received at the Township Chapel of Gordon F. Tompkins, 435 Davis Drive (Taylor Kidd Blvd at Centennial Drive) on Monday, October 29, 2007 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
Memorial donations to University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (UHKF) - ICU or ECU, the Kidney Foundation or the Kingston Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.

passed away peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Friday, October 26, 2007. Predeceased by his loving wife Morna (Swain) (1995); his parents, Charles Michael Lynch and Mary Margaret Kelly; his brother, Ted, and his wife, Yvonne. Dear brother-in-law of Mel Swain (Helen deceased) of London, ON, and Val and Pauline Swain (both deceased). Survived by his nephews. Greg (Mary Beth) Swain of Maple, ON, Mark (Barbara) Swain of Calgary, AB and Scott (Shelly) Swain of Jasper, AB. Fondly remembered by his many cousins, the sisters of Religious Hospitallers of St. Joseph and many dear friends.
Friends will be received at St. Linus Church, Bath, on Monday October 29, from 6-9 p.m., at St. Mary's Cathedral on Tuesday, October 30, from 5-9 p.m., with A Vigil Service at 7:30 p.m.; and on Wednesday, October 31, from 9:30 until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Cremation will follow, with interment in St. Mary's Cemetery at a later date.

Edmond G. "Monty" Chartier, 82 years, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2007 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital. Monty is survived by his loving wife Marjorie (nee Blanchette) and predeceased by his first wife Marion. Loving father of Rick (Denise), the late Gary, Carol (Harry), Karen (Steve), Kerry (Lisa), Michelle (Kathleen) and Chris. Much loved Grandpa to 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by brother Walter Powell. Monty was a veteran of the Canadian Air Force and a former member of Toastmasters, Windsor Jaycees and the Belle River Lion's Club. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. & Wednesday from 2-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. A Veteran's Service will be held under the auspices of the Windsor Veterans Memorial Services Committee on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh. Cremation will follow and the inurnment of the cremated remains will take place at St. Simon & St. Jude Cemetery at a later date. In kindness memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Monty Chartier in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 28, 2008. All are welcome.

Jean Nagy, 81 years, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 28, 2007. Beloved wife of Joseph for 44 years. Loving mother of Lisa and husband Louie Raffoul. Cherished granny to Adam, Eric and Aaron. Dear sister to Pete Sywy and wife the late Helen. Survived by nephews Peter and Bob and wife Sandi. Will also be sadly missed by the Raffoul family and many close friends and neighbours. Jean volunteered for many years with Windsor Legion Track & Field Club. Jean also enjoyed going to Aqua Fitness at the Gino Marcus Centre. Other hobbies included gardening, cooking and travelling. Many thanks to all of the home care nurses especially Shirley, Julie and Christine. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at the Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh. Rev. Steve Atkinson officiating. Interment will follow at Windsor Memorial Cemetery. In kindness memorial donations to the Hospice of Windsor or to Community Living Essex County would be appreciated.
