passed away peacefully at AR Goudie Eventide Home on July 6, 2007 at the age of 93.
Beloved husband of Agnes (nee Klassen) Roeser. Loving father of Peter Roeser and his wife Patricia of Waterloo and Fred Roeser of Kitchener. Cherished opa of Richard. Survived by his nephew Edgar and his wife Loren of Washington. Predeceased by his brother Edgar.
Richard spent many years with Uniroyal working as a tool and dye maker before retiring in the mid 70's to enjoy his spare time at the cottage.
A private graveside service for Richard will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated and may be made by calling the Henry Walser Funeral Home.
Rymarz, Joanna
passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at Parkwood Mennonite Home at the age of 74. Beloved wife of the late Zdzislaw Rymarz. Loving mother of Elizabeth Olczuk of Poland and Ewa Kosior and her husband Kris of Waterloo. Dear grandma to Ewa and Hanna Olczuk and Joanna and Mark Kosior.
Joanna's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 7-9 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener. Parish prayers 8 PM on Friday evening. Prayers will be offered in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, June 23, 2007 followed by procession to Sacred Heart Church for Funeral Mass at 10 AM
Interment Parkview Cemetery followed by a reception at the funeral home.

Jim Sims
With his family at his side, Jim passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at St. Mary's Hospital on Sunday, June 24, 2007 at the age of 55.
Beloved and cherished husband of 22 years to Monica. Loving father of Jeffrey and Jessica Sims and step father of Mike Nagtzaam. Dear son-in-law of Henry and Elvira Brattan. Son of Haig Sims and Willie Sims. Brother of Sandra Sims (Bill Prentice), Linda (Ed) Meyers and Bryan Sims. Brother-in-law of Mia Brattan (Gerry Reich), and George (Lynda) Brattan. Jim will be fondly remembered by his niece, nephews and many close friends.
Jim ran a successful business Com-Serve Corporation until his illness in 2004. He was a chairman for many committees in the Canadian Standards Council and the C.S.A.
Jim's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Prayers will be offered from the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 11am then transfer will be made to St. Anthony Daniel RC Church (29 Midland Dr. Kitchener) for Jim's Funeral Mass at 11:30am. Fr. Earl Talbot officiating. The Committal Service and Family Tributes will take place at Woodland Cemetery following the funeral.

Tarasiuk, Irena
passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Thursday, June 21, 2007 at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 57.
Beloved wife of Marek for 20 years. Loving mother of Jack. Dear sister to Tadeusz Urbaniak of Poland.
Irena's family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 3-5 and 6-8 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener. Liturgy service 8 PM Saturday, June 23, 2007 in the chapel of the funeral home.
Cremation to follow. Irena's cremated remains will be interred in Poland.

William Turner
Passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord at 6pm on Monday, June 25, 2007 at the age of 86.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 59 years, Margaret, daughter, Esther Corcoran (the late Bert)of Newmarket, daughter, Lois Mountney (Lee) of Barrie, son, Philip Turner (Elizabeth) of Farmington Hills, Michigan, and daughter Ellen Scheer (Timothy) of Newmarket, eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He will be remembered by his sister, Etta Naylor of Elmira. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary Turner, brothers, Albert and Carmen, and sisters, Ruby and Fanny and his three great grandchildren.
William had lived in Kitchener since 1935 up until he moved to Newmarket in July of 2005. He was an elder in the Kitchener Gospel Hall for many years and he, along with Margaret were known for their care and hospitality to many over the years. William also was a longtime employee of Kitchener Transit.

Emilia Alvarez de Velazquez was born January 16, 1941 in Mexico and died July 3, 2007 in Kitchener.
Beloved wife of the late Victor (1985). Loving mother of Marco, Fernando (Bernarda), Ligia (Jose Agustin), Leticia (Eduardo Divine), Luz Maria (Alfredo Lozano), Lorena (Farshad Mojoodi), and Gloria Velazquez. She will be fondly remembered by her 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
