Hackbart, Rose passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 9, 2005 at Fairview Mennonite Home at the age of 86.
Beloved wife of Fred Hackbart for 61 years. Dear mother of Gary and his wife Florence, Lloyd and his wife Ruth all of Waterloo, Bruce and his wife Maria of Breslau, Gerald and his wife Carolyn, Glen and his partner Lisa McInnis, Brian and his wife Trisha all of Kitchener, Neil and his wife Janice of Harriston, Kathryn and her husband Bill Troubridge of Elora and Carolyn Benyair of Fergus and the late Raymond (1975) and Morris (1958). Rose will be missed by 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Henry and Matilda (nee Maurer) Kern.
Rose’s family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 PM Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 PM Sunday and 10AM – 10:45 AM Monday at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener.
Funeral service 11 AM Monday, June 13, 2005 in the chapel of the funeral home.
Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.

Loving daughter of Cherilyn Gill. Sister of Lisa Simpson and Jeannette George. Shelly will be fondly remembered by uncle Jeff, Lisa Wade, Leslie Holland, her grandparents, George and Vaunne Gill, uncle Greg, uncle Wes and their families.
The greatest gifts were given to us by Shelly, these were courage, strength, and unconditional love.

Thomson, Barry Philip - (President of Medgar Lighting, Burlington) - passed away November 1, 2007 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital at age 53 with his family by his side. Barry had cherished his wife Ada of 32 years and daughter Kimberley. He will be sorely missed by his parents, Stan and Sheila Thomson and his sister Carol Fricbergs, her husband Artis and nephews Tyler and Sean. Brother in-law of Bruce, Carol, Jennifer and Edward, Elaine, Perry, and Eva. A celebration of Barry's life will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at 3pm in the Glen Oaks Memorial Chapel and Reception Centre, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville (North of Dundas Street at Ninth Line).
