passed away peacefully at home, with his family by his side, on Saturday, November 3, 2007. Companion for 36 years of Patricia. Sadly missed by his daughters Nicki Kent (Andy), Natalie Gilmour (Dave). Proud and loving papa of Zachary, Seven, Jacob and Andre. Missed dearly by sister Margaret Staley (Louis) and their children Chris and Kimberly. Remembered by his brothers and sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Captain George and Margaret Bates. Bill will also be missed by his Tim Horton's Family.
Friends will be received at the Township Chapel of the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Homes, 435 Davis Drive (Centennial Drive and Taylor Kidd Blvd) on Tuesday, November 6, from 7-9 p.m. Cremation will follow, with a Celebration of Life to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ride for Dad - Cancer Research in memory of Bill.

passed away on October 31, 2007 at the Kingston General Hospital ICU, with his family by his side in his 81st year. Beloved husband of 51 years to Adelheid (Addie). Dearest father of Peter and his wife Margaret. Loving Opi of Andrew and Rachel. Great grandfather of Ky and Nevaeh. Dear brother of May Binette of Montreal.
Friends and family will gather on Saturday, November 3, 2007 from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m at the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Homes - Township Chapel 435 Davis Drive Kingston (Taylor Kidd Blvd. & Centennial Drive) with funeral prayers to follow in the chapel at 10:00 a.m. Father Leo Byrne officiating. BARRIE, Manola (Noly) H. (nee Cox) - passed away peacefully, with her family at her side at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of 57 years to Gordon. Loving and devoted mother of Harv (April) of Peterborough, Len (Nancy) of Kingston, Bonnie Doreen (John Kuharski) of Bailieboro, Mary of Peterborough, Wendy (Lloyd Embury) of Burleigh Falls and mother-in-law to Gwen of Bridgenorth. Survived by her sister Mary Everest (Harold) of Powasson and her sister-in-law Winnie Cox. Pre-deceased by her youngest son Joe (April 2006), Parents Wesley and Charlotte Cox of Powasson, Brothers Sharkey, Mick and Russ. Will be sadly missed by 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Friends may call the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 600 Monaghan Rd. S. for arrangement details. A private family Inurnment will take place at a later date. Penney, David "Davey" with family by his side, David passed away on November 3, 2007 at Brampton Civic Hospital at the age of 58. Loving husband of Eileen for 32 years. Dear father of Jody and Justin. Special friend to Brenda, dear Papa of Alexis and Jayden. Adored brother of Gus, Theresa, Terry, Jack, Monica, Bill, Joan, the late Roxanne, and the late Gerard, and their spouses. He will be missed by his brothers-in-law Calvin and his wife Debbie, and David and his wife Cathy, mother-in-law Helen Lidstone, and by many nieces and nephews, all in PEI. He will also be sadly missed by his special buddy Sasha. David will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him. Wallace 'Waly' Lawrence Pecaski, 63 years, suddenly, on October 30, 2007 at Red Lake, Ont. Late of Tecumseh. Beloved husband of Georgina Dobanovacki. Loving father of Michael and wife Veronica, of Tecumseh; Lisa and husband John Karstunen, and David, MarjaPecaski (mother of Michael, Lisa and David), all of Vancouver. Dear stepfather to Maria Dobanovacki and Gene Henneberry, of Chicago; Nada and Chris Burton; and the Kostic Family in Serbia. Dearly loved son of Mary Pecaski and the late Felix (1986). Dear grandpa of Kris, Kurtis, Kaitlyn 'Grampa's Girl', Kevan, Keith, Kimberly-Ann, and Kyle; Alexis and Tyler. Dear loved brother of Shirley Charette and her late husband Art (2002); Corliss and Bill Balkwill; Ernie and Antoinette; and the late Patricia 'Pat' Grant (1996). Special brother-in-law to Edward 'Rick' Grant and wife Zagorka. Dear uncle to Dan Marchand and wife Rachelle, Michael Balkwill and wife Kimberly; Randy Grant; Sandra Lohnes (affectionately known to Wally as 'Leo') and husband Ron; Michelle Williams and husband Doug; Deanna McLennan and husband Trevor; Anthony Pecaski and wife Dana; and the late Tina Balkwill. Great-uncle to Ryan, Colton, Savannah, Brandon, Sydney, Cadence, and Noah. Special friend to Tom Brown. Wally was a Chrysler Retiree with 37 years of dedicated service. He spent his last days moose hunting and died doing what he enjoyed and loved most. He was well known for his perfectly kept rock and flower gardens, waterfalls and fish ponds. He will also be sadly missed by his friends at Chrysler's and his neighbours. Visiting Sunday, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at The Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh. Prayers Sunday 8:00 p.m. led by Fr. Dan Morand. The funeral will be held on Monday, November 5, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Anne Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Robert Couture and Fr. Dan Morand will concelebrate. Interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In kindness, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Wally in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 28, 2008. All are welcome.
