Gerard "Jerry" Downie, 48 years. passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 5, 2007 at Metropolitan Hospital. Beloved husband of Maria DiMarco. Loving son to Mary Downie and his late father “Big Jerry”. Dear son-in-law to Cesira DiMarco and the late Guido DiMarco. Dear brother-in-law to Dirce Legros and her late husband Allan (Jerry’s best friend), Raffaella Giovina and husband Egidio. Beloved nephew of Peter Mullen and his late wife. He will be missed dearly by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends. Visitation at the JAMES H. SUTTON FUNERAL HOME, 401 Sandwich St. S., Amherstburg on Friday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 8:00 p.m. Funeral service Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from the Funeral Home. Cremation to follow. As your expression of sympathy donations to the Charity of Your Choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Jerry in the Sutton Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held Sunday, September 28, 2008. All are welcome.

passed away unexpectedly at her new home at Skootamatta Lake on Friday, November 2, 2007 in her 68th year. Beloved wife and best friend to Norm. Loving mother to Joanne Ross, Eric (Debbee), Ivan (Gail), Jennifer (Doug Inglis) and Sharon (Matt Tourney). Devoted Nana to Tarah-Lee, Michael, Jaymee, Kyle, Katie and Regen. Proud great-grandmother to Madison. Dear Sister to Peter (Cindy) Parker. Wendy will be sadly missed by a multitude of friends and all who knew her. he family will receive friends at the McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Old Kingston Road, Pickering Village (Ajax) on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at Westney Heights Baptist Church, 1201 Ravenscroft Rd., Ajax (Rossland Rd.& Ravenscroft Rd.). Violet LeMay predeceased by her husbands Alf Davies and Wes LeMay. Loving mother of Keith Davies and his wife Yvonne. Dear grandmother of Kerri Joseph, Danielle Ross and Vanessa Davies. Great-grandmother to Samantha and Colton Ross. Also survived by her sisters Margaret Day, Dorothy Denman and brother George Morrish. Peacefully passed away, with her loving family by her side, at the Bob Kemp Hospice on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, in her 68th year. Beloved wife of Eugene for 41 years. Loving mother of Kim(Duane) of New Brunswick, Troy (Kelly), Noreen (Mike) and Noella (Jimmy). Proud grandmother of Evan, Michael, Trevor, Tyler, Jeff, Jason, Kylie, Maggie and Abbie. Dear sister of Blanche (the late Donny), Willard Jr. (the late Shirley), the late Edison, Joyce (Nelson), Lillian (Wallace), Hubert (Donna), Bernice (Rodney) and the late Wilson (Ellen). Predeceased by parents Winnifred and Willard Jardine. Lois will be forever remembered by all of her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who love her dearly.
