Vincent LePage, 66 years, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2007 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of 38 years to Judy (nee Barlow). Dear brother-in-law to Pat Tisdale. Vince will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. He was a retired principal with the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board. Devoted grandfather of Shoshannah and Sarah. Survived by his twin sister Lilly Osvath of New Zeland. John will also be missed by his nephews Gabor and Peter Osvath. Mr. Robert (Bob) John Hamilton
March 3, 1948 - November 4, 2007
Hamilton, Robert (Bob) John - passed away peacefully on November 4, 2007 at the age of 59 with his loving family by his side. Bob is survived and will be forever remembered by his best friend and wife Lesley, his devoted and loving sons B.J. (Alison) and Mike (Taron), pre-deceased by his parents Nancy and Bert, dear son- in- law to Glad and Harvey Schott, brother-in-law to Jay and Chip Johnson (Janell).
His passion for life, love of his family and friends provided him with the strength and the courage in his fight to live through the last year. Bob touched so many lives with his laughter, kind gentle spirit and the twinkle in his eyes. He will be deeply missed.
He graduated with an honors B.A. in economics from the University of Calgary and received his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario.
He was a highly energetic and successful senior executive in financial management, while residing with his family in Norway, U.S.A, and Canada.
Bob was an avid sports fan with a passion for golf, football and hockey especially his Toronto Maple Leafs.
The Hamilton family would like to sincerely thank Dr. M. Foster, Dr. Ganesan, Julie Dawson and her wonderful staff on the 4th floor of Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital in Burlington for comforting him and treating him with compassion through his tough battle over the past year. We would like to also thank the Carpenter House for making Bob’s last days very special and peaceful for him and his family.
A celebration of the full and exciting life of this wonderful man will be held at the Glen Oaks Memorial Chapel and Reception Centre, 3164 Ninth Line (at Dundas) in Oakville. Family and friends will be received between 3-4:00 p.m.on Friday, November 9, 2007 with a Celebration of Life beginning at 4 p.m. Reception to follow. All are welcome to attend.
In memoriam of Bob, donations can be made to the Carpenter Hospice in Burlington or the Pencer Centre, in support of Brain Tumour research, through the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation in Toronto.
