HOREN, Fred
On June 5, 2007 Mr. Fred Horen of Edmonton passed away peacefully at the age of 87. He is lovingly remembered by his children; Jim (Barb) of Westbank, BC, Bob (Brenda) of Calgary, and Lori of Edmonton, four grandchildren; one sister Mary Cowie of Vancouver, BC as well as many relatives and friends.
Fred was predeceased by his wife Lydia (Lil) on September 27, 2003.
A celebration of Fred's life will be held on Monday, June 11, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home, south of Wye Road on Range Road 232, Sherwood Park, Alberta. Inurnment and reception will follow at Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the doctors and staff at the Choice Program Good Samaritan.

Mr. Arthur Gerald Purschke
August 11, 1931 - June 3, 2007
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Arthur Gerald Purschke of Edmonton, on June 3, 2007 at the age of 75 years.
Arthur is survived by his loving family; his wife Eileen, one son Gregory, his wife Twyla and their daughter Anna, one daughter Jacqueline (Jackie) Nicks, her husband Travis and their daughters Desiree and Piper; brothers Francis (Dorothy) and Richard of Lamont, Edward (Jean) of Edmonton and sister Elizabeth Macore of Leduc. Predeceased by his parents Charlie and Anna of Star, Alberta; brother Carl and brother-in-law Lewis Macore.
We wish to extend a heartful thank you to Dr. R. MacArthur, his team and all the staff at ICU3A2 that provided Arthur with excellent and compassionate care.
Prayer service will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2007 at 7:00 pm at Glenwood Funeral Home, south of Wye Road on Range Road 232, Sherwood Park. Funeral service with Reverend Roger Keeler officiating will be Friday, June 8, 2007 at 10:00 am at St. Michael Resurrection Parish, 10555-50A Street, Edmonton with burial to follow at Glenwood Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Colin Edmund Cross
May 12, 1946 - June 12, 2007
On June 12, 2007, Colin Cross passed away at the age of 61 years at the Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton. He is survived by his brothers, Don and Lawrence and his nieces, Alison and Lisa.
Colin was proud to be a member of the Edmonton Huskies Football Team.
Colin and his team-mates' successes are recorded in the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame in Red Deer, Alberta.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 15, 2007 from 7:00-9:00 P.M. at the Glenwood Funeral Home, 52356-Range Road 232, south of Wye Road, Sherwood Park, Alberta. A Memorial Service will be held at Glenwood Funeral Home on Monday, June 18, 2007 at 2:00 P.M.

Peacefully on June 17th, 2007, at the Credit Valley Hospital, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Simone Claudette Moszynski, beloved wife of the late Joseph.
Loving mother of Matthew and Paul.

A private funeral service will be held on Wednesday at the "Woodbridge Chapel" of Scott Funeral Home, 7776 Kipling Avenue (at Hwy 7).
Interment Glendale Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. kKara Ehlert
March 7, 1921 - June 16, 2007
On June 16, 2007, Mrs. Klara Ehlert of the Edmonton area passed away peacefully at the age of 86 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her two sons Armin (Inga) of Sherwood Park and Dieter (Sylvia von Berg) of Kingston, Ontario, granddaughter Anita (Michael) Norris of Edmonton, two great grandchildren Emma and Hudson.
Klara was predeceased by her husband Erwin on August 11, 2006.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at 1:00 p.m at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 9155- 79 Avenue in Edmonton. Interment will follow in Glenwood Memorial Gardens in Sherwood Park. In lieu of other tributes donations can be made to either the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to all those who cared for Klara at Laurier House.
