Mr. George William Hipkin
August 22, 1924 - June 24, 2007
Mum’s beloved husband and our loving dad has moved forward into the next phase of his being to join with his friends and relatives that have gone before him. He will be remembered always by his loving, devoted wife of 62 years, Shirley (nee Stannard), Children; Faye (John), Murray (Marlene), Doug (Sandy), Debra (Bob), Rob (Lee), Barb (Don), Shelley (Richard); 19 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. Sisters; Barbara McDougall and Jean Burns; and Brother Gerald. He is predeceased by his parents; Jim (Percy) and Freda Hipkin, Brother Dick (Phyllis) and Brothers in-law Dave (Jean) and Keith (Barbara).
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 28th at 10:00am at Glenwood Funeral Home, south of Wye Road on RR 232, Sherwood Park, AB. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the Grey Nuns Hospital for the care and support they provided during the past three weeks.

On June 27, 2007, Donna Mae Gilson passed away at the age of 59 years.
She leaves to mourn her loving children, Judy (Jeff), Kevin (Sarah), Cherrie (Peter) and Kelly (Brad); five grandchildren, PJ, Britnie, Theresa-Lynn , Amelia and Bree; one brother, Dave (Esther) Gilson and family; nephew, Kenny Gilson, and cousin Becky-Ann.
Donna was predeceased by her son, Norman David.

Mr. Erwin Johannes Stolk

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Erwin on July 9th, 2007, at the young age of 34 years.
He will be loving remembered and sadly missed by his loving wife Deanne; his parents Jan and Ina, brothers and sisters Jurgen (Michelle), Robert (Stephanie), Rick, Krista and Cheyenne, in –laws Al and Audrey, Sister-in-law Lisa (Randy), Niece Kristin and Nephew Ryan,. He will also be missed by his aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as his many friends.
A Celebration of his Life will take place on Monday, July 16, 2007 at 10:00 am at Glenwood Funeral Home, south of Wye Road 232, Sherwood Park. Viewing will be available Sunday July 15th, from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Glenwood. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the University of Alberta Hospital, Intensive Care Unit and Unit 4A2 for their care and compassion. Very peacefully at Hill House Hospice on Friday, July 13, 2007, in her 95th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Howard and her granddaughter Tammy. Loving mother of Taflyn and Ken Maynard, Julian and Maggie Sale, Vicki and Vic Galka and Barbara and John Newman. Beloved granny and great-gran to 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Our heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Amica Villa DaVinci and Hill House Hospice for their tender loving care.
Friends will be received at Christ Church Anglican (8045 Islington Ave. Woodbridge) on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Christ Church Anglican following visitation at 2:00 p.m. Internment of cremated remains at Christ Church cemetery.
