October 23, 1922 - October 4, 2007

DOUGLAS, EVELYN LOUISE (Sully)

At the Kingston General Hospital, on Friday, October 5, 2007, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late William Arnold Douglas (1994). Loving mother of Susan (Tom) Herman and Sharon (Frank) Cuvelier. Cherished by her grandchildren Lisa (Shaun) Armstrong, Greg Herman, Leah (Brad) Dowdell and Scott (Megan) Price. Loving great grandmother of Mara and Macy Dowdell, Dylan, Darren and Darcy Armstrong. Dearest sister of Faye Wiggins (late Walter), John Sully (Patricia) and predeceased by Betty (Eric) Davies, Audrey Sully, Annie Alton and Norma Sully.

Friends will be received at the Township Chapel of the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Homes, 435 Davis Drive (Centennial Dr and Taylor Kidd Blvd) on Sunday, October 7 from 1-3 p.m. with a Prayer service at 3:00 p.m. Cremation with the interment of the urn in Toronto at a later date.

For those wishing, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in memory of Evelyn.

Beloved son of Marcelline & husband Paul Jolicoeur and Roger & wife Fran Charette. Dear brother of Charity & husband Mark Denunzio, Rebecca Dasilva.

Precious nephew of Karen & Paul Charette. Dear grandson of Catherine Robidoux & predeceased by his grandparents Harold Robidoux, Pauline & James Charette. Dear nephew of Linda Bondy, Randy Charette, Mary Ann & husband Ernie, Judy & husband Tim, Wayne & the late Elaine, and Louis. He will be sadly missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews & friends, especially Richard, Paul & Matt. Jimmy s family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank you to the Support Workers at his home in Amherstburg for their dedication, love & caring support shown to Jimmy throughout the years. January 23, 1925 - October 4, 2007

82 years, passed away peacefully with family by her side on October 4, 2007 at Windsor Regional Hospital-Metropolitan Campus. Beloved wife of the late Delkie John Chiesa. Loving mother of David and wife Mary (nee Belanger) and Suzanne and husband Ben Klundert. Cherished Granny to Christopher, Sarah, and Jessica Chiesa and Brent and Megan Klundert. Dear sister to Lois and husband Don MacFarlane, Anthony Madge and wife Margaret and the late Kenneth Madge. Will also be missed by sister-in-law Etna Stefani (the late John Stefani) and brother-in-law Gino Chiesa and wife Joan. Valerie was a devoted member of St. Mark s by-the-Lake Church having served on the Chancel Guild and was an active volunteer with many church fund raising events. Visitation will be held at the Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (519-735-2830) on Monday from 2-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. A Service of Light will be held at 8:30 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. Mark s by-the-Lake Church 150 St. Mark s Road on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Kevin George will be the celebrant. Cremation will follow and the interment of cremated remains will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens at a later date. In kindness memorial donations to the Alzheimer society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Valerie Chiesa in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. Mrs. Ann Anderson
December 30, 1906 - October 4, 2007

The daughters of Ann Anderson sadly announce her passing on October 4th 2007. Born a Henderson in December 1906, Lady Ann packed lots of adventures into her over 100 years of life. Her love of travel began in 1953, when she and her beloved George (1981) immigrated to Canada. She was a working mom and retired from C.H. Smith. She was a lifetime member of the John Richardson Branch of I.O.D.E. Saturday evenings Ann and George could be found at the Scottish Society of Windsor dancing up a storm. Ann leaves a legacy of joi de vie to her daughters: Tessa, Audrey (Gilles), Elizabeth (George). Loving Nanna to Tessa, Tom, Susanne, Kristen, Sara, Tanya and Tristen. Dear friend of Helen. Our sincere thanks to all the staff at The Brouillett Manor. Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 10 at 1pm until the memorial service at 2p.m. at Marcotte Funeral Home (12105 Tecumseh Road East 519-735-2830). Interment Victoria Memorial Gardens to follow. Donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society or the Greater Essex Humane Society would be appreciated. June 29, 1920 - October 5, 2007

Peacefully on Friday October 5, 2007 at Heron Terrace at the age of 87. Predeceased by his dear wife Jeannette (1988). Loving father of Patricia Champagne and her husband Bill, Pauline Bump and her husband Skip, Paul and his wife Laurette, Ronald, MaryJane Masse and Debbie Russ and her husband John. Cherished grandfather of 14 and great grandfather of 13. Dear brother of Laurette St. Antoine, Arsene Janisse, Mary Lou Drouillard, Henry Janisse and Leonard Janisse. Gordon is predeceased by his brothers Raymond Janisse and Rev. Clem Janisse. Gordon was responsible for the home delivery for Borden's and Wonder Bread in Tecumseh and Essex County, He also worked for Green Giant for 17 years. Visitation will take place on Sunday October 7 and Monday October 8 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Knights of Columbus Prayers held under the auspices of St. Theresa Council 9397 and the Rt. Rev. Wilfred J. Langlois. Assembly will be held on Monday at 7:30 p.m. and parish prayers will be held on Monday at 8:30pm at Marcotte Funeral Home (12105 Tecumseh Road East 519-735-2830)Visitation Tuesday Oct 9 2007 from 9:30am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 at St. William's Roman Catholic Church. Burial to follow at St. William's Roman Catholic cemetery. Donations to the Arthritis Society, Diabetes Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Peacefully, with his family by his side, at the Kingston General Hospital, on Thursday, October 4, 2007 in his 68th year. Beloved husband for 43 years to Ann (nee McKeown) Loving father of Margie (Chris), Cathy (Paul) and Debbie (Keith). Dear Grandpa of Ashley (Jeff), Chris, Tim, Nicki and Molly and Great Grandpa of Brianna and Shyane. Dear brother of Wayne (Anita). Dearest brother in law of Mike and Pat (Lois) McKeown. Fondly remembered by his many relatives and friends.

Friends will be recieved at the Central Chapel of the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Homes, 49 Colborne St., Kingston on Sunday evening from 7 - 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 11 a.m. Rite of Committal, St. Patrick's cemetery , Napanee. At Stratford General Hospital on Saturday September 29, 3007. Michael Sheardown passed away suddenly in his 44th year. Dear father of Tyler and wife Patricia (Milar). ear son of Harold and Rose Sheardown. Survived by loving brothers John Sheardown, Wayne Sheardown and his wife Jo-Ann, sisters Penny and her husband Don Bricker, Karen and husband Ron Tyndall, Kathy and husband Scott Jenkins. Michael will be missed also by his many nieces and nephews and his many good friends. A private family service was held on Friday October 5, 2007 at Maitland cemetery.

Mr. Paul David Doak
April 19, 1949 - October 5, 2007

On Friday, October 5, 2007, Paul David Doak of Goderich, in his 59th year passed away with his family around him. Paul is survived by his wife Brenda (Diehl) and daughter Khristen. He is also survived by his Mother Edna, brother Wayne (Gwen) and sister Cheryl (Shaun) and brother in law Brian (Sharon). Paul was pre-deceased by his father Arnold and Bother in law Barry. Friends will be received at McCallum & Palla Funeral Home, Cambria Rd. at East St., Goderich. On Tuesday evening, from 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday October 10, 2007 at 11 am. Internment Maitland cemetery. passed away peacefully on October 5,2007 at the age of 93 at Malden Park. Formerly of Central Park Lodge. Predeceased by her husband William (1987). Beloved mother of Howard Christie and wife Lynn of Ohio and Alastair Christie of Windsor. Dear grandmother of Amy and Jilian Christie. Predeceased by her brother James Milligan. Aunt of Anthony Milligan. Great Aunt of George and Clara Milligan, Jack Milligan, and Susie Milligan. The family would like to thank all the staff of Central Park Lodge for all their kindness and care given to Muriel over the last several years. Your thoughtfulness will always be remembered.

Memorial visitation will be held at the JANISSE BROS-MARCOTTE FUNERAL HOME, 1139 Ouellette Ave (519-253-5225)from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2007. Interment at Victoria Memorial cemetery on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at 10 a.m.
