Tragically on October 5, 2007 at the age of 15. Survived by his parents Bernadette, Peter, his sister Amanda, his step-brother Dylan, his great-grandmother and his many grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends at the McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Old Kingston Road, Pickering Village (Ajax) 905-428-8488 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday. Funeral Service will take place in the chapel on Thursday October 11, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Donations to the Kids Help Phone or to The Wayne Memorial Fund [donations may be made at any TD Canada Trust, Transit # 18056348779 (contact at the bank is Rebecca 905 831 2873) or cheques payable to 'The Wayne Lefebvre Memorial Fund' ]would be appreciated. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday October 10th at 10am in St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 4260 Cawthra Rd., Mississauga. Burial to follow at Assumption cemetery , 6933 Tomken Rd., Mississauga. In lieu of flowers donations to The Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated.

passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at Markham Stouffville Hospital, with her family at her bedside. She leaves to mourn, her daughter Jacqueline, granddaughters Tiffany and Jeudene, and numerous family members and dear friends. The family wishes to thank the wonderful team of health care professionals at the Oncology Department and the Palliative Care Unit of Markham Stouffville Hospital for their excellent care of Daphne. Family and friends will be received at the Highland Funeral Home, 3280 Sheppard Ave. East (416-773-0933), on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at Agincourt Pentecostal Church, 2885 Kennedy Rd. (Kennedy and Finch), on Thursday, October 11, 2007 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Floral tributes or donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

Peacefully at the Scarborough Grace Hospital on Friday, May 15, 2009 in his 79th year. Ayres leaves behind his devoted wife Mary Rose, and his loving children: Sandra (Randy) Wetzel, Malcolm (Jolyn), Lyndon (Elena), and Alwyn (Viveka). He will be forever missed by his grandchildren: Richard, Jasmine, Amelia, LeRoy, Roland, Wendall, Colette, Lucas, and Samara. Dear brother to Eddie, and Max (Alice). Predeceased by sister Anne (late husband Cajetan), Olinda (late husband Marcelino), and sister-in-law Mita. Ayres will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by the rest of his family and many friends. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 20 at the Highland Funeral Home, 3280 Sheppard Ave. East, Scarborough, 416-773-0933. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, May 21 at The Church of the Good Shepherd, 21 Simonston Blvd., Thornhill. Interment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation.

passed away peacefully at Rouge Valley Ajax/Pickering On Thursday, March 22, 2007 in her 84th year. Survived by her husband, Ted, married for over 64 years. Mother of Barry (Phyllis), Terry, and Wendy (Andrew). Older sister of Jim (Beth) Gaine. She will be lovingly remembered by her 6 grandchildren; Nicole, Amanda (Shawn), Lindsay, Katie, Jenna, and Mackenzie, and great-grandson, Jenson. Following Lois s wishes, there will be no service.

Peacefully passed away on Monday, January 25, 2010 with her family by her side at Wyndham Manor in her 86th year. Betty, loving wife of J.P. Lemieux (former Assistant Production Manager Ottawa Citizen) Beloved mother of Dianne and her husband Michael Whitcombe. Devoted Nanny of Matthew and Michele. Dear sister of the late Elsie Kolba. Much loved aunt of several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, 47 Reynolds St, Oakville on Friday, January 29, 2010 at 11am. A special thanks to all the caring staff at Wyndham Manor for taking such good care of Betty over the last 4 1/2 years. Peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, March 24th, 2007 at Rouge Valley Ajax/Pickering Hospital in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Isobel for 58 years. Loving father of Susan (Doug Hines), Keith (Debbie), Kim (Carolyn), Cindy ( friend Tim Noble), and Kathie (Adam Gayda). Cherished grandpa of Jennifer (Majid), Michael (fianc e Szilvia), Jaclyn (Nick), Andrea, Kevin, Sarah, Alex, Mark and Emily. Proud great grandpa of Noah. Loving brother of Don, Audrey, Betty, and Marian (Clint Coleman). Edgar will be lovingly remembered by his brothers in-law, sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends. Special thanks to the nursing staff, Dr. S. Donahue, and Dr. V. Maclennan of Ajax/Pickering hospital, 2 East for all of their compassionate care and support given to Edgar and his family.
