Loving brother of John (Rosalind), Shirley (Maurice) Lund, Mary (Baxter) Wiseman, Joseph (Betty) and Patrick (Heather). Dearly loved friend of Norma Barnett.
Predeceased by brothers, Leo (Bud) and Campbell (Cam). He will be lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews.
Chuck is resting at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St. (at King Street), St. Catharines, Ont. for visitation Wednesday between the hours of 2-4 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel Thursday, May 25, 2000 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
Memorial remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

James Sturgess, 71, of Cornwall, Ont. and formerly of Glace Bay, passed Sunday, May 21, 2000.
He is survived his son, Shawn (Wendy), daughter, Shannon (Robert Bears), two grandsons, Joshua and Cody and two granddaughters, Brittany and Courtney, all of Ontario; sister, Flora Larson, British Columbia; his former wife, Viola MacIntyre, Ontario.
Predeceased by daughter, Joanna Lynn and brothers, Edward, Raymond and sisters, Lois, Margaret and Fanny.
Funeral will be held at Lahey and Sullivan Funeral Home in Cornwall, Ont.
Donations can be made to the Diabetic Association.
Cecile (Cecilia) Shea (nee Boudreau)
Onaping, Ont.
The family announces the death of Cecile (Cecilia) Shea, (nee Boudreau), who passed away Sunday, April 2, 2000, at Extendicare-York, Sudbury, Ont.
Born in the Acadian village of Cheticamp, Cape Breton (1917), she married James D. Shea of Glace Bay, Cape Breton in 1938.
In 1958, the family moved to Onaping, Ont., where they became long time residents. A Roman Catholic, she was a devoted member of St. Bartholomew’s Church, Levack. For many years she worked as part of the custodial staff for the Sudbury Public School Board in the Onaping area.
Daughter of the late Padé Boudreau and Elsie Aucoine, she is survived by her husband, James Shea, Extendicare-York; daughters, Bernice, Shirley (Eugene Mirka), Mary Elsie (André Pigeon predeceased), Bernadette and one son, Bernard. Dear sister of Mary Hartigan predeceased, Maggie Boudreau predeceased, Lucy Murphy, Therese Leblanc, Rita O’Hanley, Joseph Boudreau predeceased and Dennis Boudreau. Cherished grandmother of nine grandchildren and great-grandmother to seven great-grandchildren.
Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
A memorial mass and “Celebration of Life” service will take place Saturday, April 15, 2000 at 11 a.m. at St. Bartholomew’s Church, Levack, Ont. Reception sponsored by the church to follow the service. To all who wish to attend, “Ciad Mile Failte”,/One Hundred Thousand Welcomes.”
In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to the Kidney Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

David (Sandy) Hollingsworth

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of David (Sandy) Hollingsworth on Tuesday, April 4, 2000, after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 51.
Beloved companion of Brenda Leslie (and family); cherished son of Bessie Hollingsworth and the late John Hollingsworth; father of Lisa, David, Amanda and Angela; grandfather of Alysia. He is also survived by 12 brothers and sisters, Johnny, Danny, Bobby (Carolyn), Joey (Marilyn), Bill (Anne), Kay Shebib, Ethel (Gord), Donna (Norm), June (George), Lois (James), Patty (Melvin), Debbie (Weldon) and his many nieces and nephews. He is the dear friend of Wayne and Mary Norton (and family), Whitey Engleby, and co-workers at Curwood Packaging.
Sandy was a member of the Salvation Army in Sydney Mines. He will be sadly missed by all those who loved him.
The service was held April 6, in Georgetown, Ont. Cremation has taken place.

77, Toronto, Ont.
Veronica (MacInnis) Wells of Toronto, Ont. and formerly of East Bay, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 20, 2000, surrounded by members of her family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Predeceased by her first husband, Alexander MacDonald, East Bay, she leaves to mourn her husband, Albert Wells, Toronto.
She was the cherished and loving mother of nine children, Dorothy MacInnis, Halifax, John D. (Autumn) MacDonald and Isabel (John R.) MacNeil, both of East Bay, Duncan (Donna) MacDonald, Glace Bay, Joseph (Amy) MacDonald, Gander, Nfld. along with Helen Meisner (John), Roneta (David) Clemens, Brian (Karen) MacDonald, Brenda (Darrell) MacDonald and Robert West, all of Toronto.
She also leaves to mourn her 25 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
