He leaves behind his best friend, soul mate and love of his life, his wife Michelle. Cherished dad and step dad to Jason (Kaitlin), Courtney, Brittany, Alisha, Samantha (Trevor) and Zachary. He will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his father-in-law Gerald Drouillard as well as all his grandparents. Special thank you to his nurse Lori Bachynski for going above and beyond with Tim’s care during this journey – I know it wasn’t always easy. Kinsey, Jenny and Noah from Rivera Nursing, CCAC for making sure Tim had what he needed, Dr. Morvay for your compassion and all the time you took with him when he needed it, Dr. Gall and the staff of Hospice for your outstanding care and the Cancer Centre of Windsor. Tim was a caring and gentle man who enjoyed life. He loved spending time on the water in his boat and casting a line. He loved cheering on his favourite teams whether it was hockey, football or baseball. In keeping with Tim’s wishes, I ask that you not wear black to the funeral home or wear a suit as he hated that and thought it was too depressing and stuffy. He always felt that you should celebrate someone’s life and that celebration is reflected in colour. Visiting at the , 87 Maidstone Ave. E., Essex (519-776-4233) on Tuesday 7-9 pm, Wednesday 2-5 and 7-9 pm and on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 146 Talbot Street South, Essex from 9:30 am until time of Funeral Mass to celebrate Tim’s life at 10:30 am. Fr. Robert Rocheleau officiating. Cremation to follow. Parish Prayers Wednesday evening. During the course of Tim’s treatment he wished that the chairs in the waiting room were more comfortable for the patients, and therefore in lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations be made to a fund established in Tim’s memory to Chairs Because We Care for patients improvement or to the Hospice of Windsor.
