EMPEY - At Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Saturday, November 6, 1999. Harry Empey of Tillsonburg and formerly R.R.#2, Springfield in his 73rd year. Born in North Dorchester Township on November 12, 1926 son of the late Roy and Mabel (Couch) Empey. Harry was adherent to St. John's United Church in Springfield and was an active, longtime member of Ark Lodge #404 in Springfield. He was past District Deputy and Noble Grand and was attached to many other I.O.O.F. branches. Harry retired from farming in 1997 and moved to Tillsonburg. Dear brother to Luella Meatherall and husband Howard of Ingersoll, Dorothy Sutherland of Putnam, Shirley Lysko of Burlington, Jean Empey of Tillsonburg, Keith Empey and wife Rose Marie of Springfield, Jack Empey and wife Patricia of Aylmer and Donald Empey and wife Margaret of Norwich. Brother-in-law to Marlene Empey of Brownsville and Donald Williamson of London. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. KISSLINGER: at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, on Friday, November 5, 1999, Mr. Thomas Kisslinger at the age of 80 years. Born November 4th 1919, son of the late Joseph and Bertha Kisslinger, all were from Romania. Thomas was a W.W.II Vet who later worked with dedication at the Livingston's Industries Ltd., for 29 years retiring in 1985. Much loved husband of 46 years of Rose (Alzner) Kisslinger. Loving and much loved father of: John Kisslinger of London, Bob Kisslinger of Tillsonburg, Rosemarie and Brian (Watts) of Brantford and Linda and Jim Haney of Tillsonburg. Loving and proud grandfather of seven grandchildren: Johnathan Kisslinger and wife Shannon, Chantelle Kisslinger and fiance J.J. Walker, all of London, Samantha Haney and fiance Pete Duffus of Tillsonburg, Jason Anastassakis and Constantinos "Gus" Anastassakis, both of Brantford, Melissa Kisslinger of St. Thomas and Lindsey Kisslinger of Michigan, U.S.A. Survived by four loved great-grandchildren: Taylor James Kisslinger, Jarret Kisslinger, Joshua Kisslinger and Brindley Kisslinger, all of London. Survived by a brother Hermann Kisslinger of Saltzburg, Austria and a sister Lottie Lichstensteiger of Mondsee, Austria. Survived by a cousin and close friend Paul Michalski and his wife Ida and family from Lima, New York, U.S.A. Also survived by several brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by a much loved son Arthur (July 11, 1999). Also predeceased by two brothers Robert (1983) and Ferdinand (1945).
