SAYERS, LEONA – At Vision Nursing Home on Sunday, January 28, 2018, Anna “Leona” (Stonehouse) Sayers, age 88 of Sarnia passed away. She was the loving wife of the late George Rayburn Sayers and dear mother of Donald Sayers and loving grandmother of Brittany Sayers. She was predeceased by her parents John and Margaret (O’Neil) Stonehouse and her son Peter. Leona was born and raised in Sarnia and was a member of Dunlop United Church. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia) on Friday, February 2nd, 2018 at 1:30 pm. Visitation will begin an hour prior to the service on Friday at 12:30 pm. Private interment will be held at Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations made in memory of Leona to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
DEASE, Donald of Sarnia
DEASE, DONALD – With sadness the family announces the passing of Donald Richard Dease, age 81 of Sarnia, at Bluewater Health on Monday, January 22nd, 2018, peacefully surrounded by his dear family. He was the husband of Nancy (Taylor) Dease, loving father of Karen Dease-Boden, Marc (Karen) and Kristi Dease-Waluchow (Bob) and loving grandpa of Carleigh (Andrew) Bain, Craig (Kailey), Brock (Lisa Campanale), Ian, Ryan, Danielle (Josh Randall) and Kaitlyn (Josh Pastorius) and great granddaughter Emmy Bain. He was the brother of Peachy (Sandy) McGeachy, and Bev Mann and Brother-in-law Carol Chambers-DeGraff (Peter), Murray. Predeceased by his parents Clarence and Bessie, his son Bruce (1958), sister Carol, brothers in law John Mann, John Moser, Fred Chambers, Peter Dicks, Jim Taylor and great nephew Liam McGeachy. He was a gifted artist who spent hours working on his bird carvings, woodburnings and scratchboards, while listening to music and oldtime radio shows in his shed. Don enjoyed watching old movies with his family, working out at Ironworks Gym, and hanging out at the mall with longtime friends, Arn, Rich and Glen. He was a lifelong member of Canon Davis Memorial Church and 3C Carvers. Don founded in 1971, then retired from Art & Letters Signs in 2001. Friends will be received on Thursday, January 25 from 7:00-9:00PM at D.J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 102 N. Victoria St. A memorial service will take place Friday, January 26 at 11:00AM at Canon Davis Memorial Church, 380 Maxwell St. Sarnia with visitation at 10:00AM before the service. Cremation has taken place and interment will be held at Lakeview Cemetery at a later date. A special thanks to Dr. Haddad, and ICU nurses, Laura, Julie, Jaime, Georgia and Nicole whose tender loving care during his final days were a comfort to us all. BAUMANN, EDWARD – The family sadly announces that Edward “Ed” Frank Baumann, age 56 of Sarnia passed away on January, 20th, 2018. He was the dear spouse of Lori Baron and loving father of Bryttney Baumann (Steve Teft) and granddaughter on the way Violet Eden Teft, brother of Richard and uncle of Danielle. Ed was predeceased by his parents Frank and Kathleen and little brother Freddy. Born in Kapuskasing, Ed was a proud member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union, Local #663. He loved his boating, water skiing, flying, his corvette and motorcycle. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia) on Friday, January 26th, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be on Friday and begins at 12:30 pm until the service begins at 2:00 pm. CLARKE, Deborah (Debbie) of Langley Formerly of Surrey
Debbie Clarke, 64, of Langley, BC passed away at Langley Memorial Hospital on February 14th, 2018. Born March 29th, 1953 in Selkirk, Manitoba, she moved to Long Pond, Newfoundland with her family in 1966. In 1971 she graduated from Queen Elizabeth Regional in Fox Trap, Newfoundland. She then moved with her family to Amherst, Nova Scotia in 1973, where her daughter was born in 1976. Shortly after the birth of her daughter, she moved to Surrey, BC, where her son was later born in 1991. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, mother Evelyn, father Kenneth, and step-mother Dorothy. She is survived by her step-father George, daughter Teresa (Jeff), son Michael (Bracken), sisters Gwen, Georgina (Terry), Laureen, Rhonda (Jeremy), brother Kenny (Trina), granddaughters Cassandra and Kiera, and by nieces Amanda and Crystal, Hannah, Maddie, Emma, Jenna and nephews Landen and Brody. She enjoyed crafts, bingo, puzzles, and playing games on Facebook and was a huge Canucks fan. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Willoughby Hall, 20809 83rd Ave, Langley BC March 24th at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Predeceased by her nephews Ben Samplonius and Trever Bell. Survived by her grandmother Cathy Vens. Great Gram to 12 with one more on the way. Predeceased by infant son.
Joan was always known as a loving and kind person in the community, having served as a volunteer for many years with different organizations including Flesherton Minor Hockey and St.John’s United Church. She could often be found walking about town running errands and catching up with everyone she passed. As an endless supporter of Flesherton minor sports, Joan loved reading about every goal and accomplishment made by the young athletes. Most of all, she loved taking care of her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Joan will be greatly missed by many friends, church family, and the community.
The family will receive friends at Fawcett Funeral Cremation Reception on Wednesday, February 14 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm with a service from the chapel on Thursday at 11am. Reception to follow. GLENN, MARJORY – At St. Joseph’s Hospice on Sunday, February 4, 2018, Marjory Bertha (Campbell) Glenn, age 96 of Sarnia passed away peacefully with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of the late Ross Logie Glenn (1999) and dear mother of Sandra Stuchberry (Fred), David Glenn (Janet) and Kathryn Glenn. She was the loving grandmother of Mary Clemens (David), Jeff Stuchberry (Angie), Paul Stuchberry (Rachel), Jennifer Mackey (Robert), Brenda Lea (Tim) and Julie Sousa (Steven) and great-grandmother of Tavis, Rachel, Gabriela, Emily, Megan, Sarah, Kate, Violet, Nicholas and Spencer. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Marjory was predeceased by her parents, four sisters and a brother. She was a special friend to many people. Marjory was born in Ridgetown in 1921 and was a resident of Sarnia since 1941. She was a member of Paterson Memorial Presbyterian Church and the ESSO Annuitants Association. Cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date. McLEAN, Grant of Strathroy
Peacefully on Thursday, February 1st, 2018 at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital; N.H. Grant McLean passed away at the age of 78. Beloved husband and best friend of Joanne McLean (née Earley) for 61 years. Loving father of Joe (Ross), Jim (Wendy), Jeff (Shelley) and Mike McLean. Cherished Grandpa of Ryan, Jenn, Cody, Nicki, Michelle, Wade and Emily. Great-grandfather to Kaidynce, Xavier and Riker. Survived by his sister Dorothy (Raymond), sisters-in-law Eva and Joan and brothers-in-law Bill (Heather) and John (Nanette). Grant will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by his brothers Douglas and Claire and brother-in-law Alan.
