Neill, Donald James Stewart “Stink” of St. Thomas passed away at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, February 23rd, 2015, in his 58th year. Beloved son of James “Dan” and Donna (Bowlby) Neill and dearly loved brother of Robert Neill (Anne), Deborah Neill (Jim), W. Danny Neill (Laurine) and the late Connie Neill. Lovingly remembered by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Don was born in St. Thomas on October 10th, 1958. He was a plumber by trade and worked as a custodian at International Academy in London. He enjoyed playing and refereed hockey, soccer, baseball and golf. Don was an assistant trainer for the St. Thomas Stars over 10 years and was the assistant trainer for the Ontario Hockey Team at the Canada Winter Games in Sidney , N.S. , in 1987, where they won a silver metal.

Robertson, Timothy “Tim”
Robertson, Timothy “Tim” passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 20th, 2015, in his 62nd year. Tim was born in Chatham on July 18th, 1954 and was the cherished son of Bob (2014) and Mary (2010) Robertson. Dearly loved brother of Bob Robertson (Lucy), Roberta Robertson, Beth Spicer (Bob), Kathy Robertson (1981), Peter Robertson, Sally Walker (Brian) and Jane Robertson. Tim will be sadly missed by a number of nieces and nephews and his devoted friend Mary Craig. Tim spent his childhood in Aylmer and had been a resident of St. Thomas for many years. Tim was a loving and kind hearted Maple Leafs fan who was a trusted and loyal friend to all who knew him. His beautiful green eyes, bright smile and belly laugh brought joy to everyone he encountered.
A Mass of the Christian Burial will be recited at Holy Angels’ Church on Wednesday morning at 10:00am. Cremation has taken place with interment of ashes to follow in Holy Angels’ Cemetery. No public visitation. Memorial donations may be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Liberty, Robert Charles
Liberty, Robert Charles passed away in London on Monday, September 14th, 2015, in his 30th year. Dear son of Charles Liberty and his partner Tina Bolt of Port Stanley and Debora (Sinden) McCauley. Loved brother of Brett and step-brother of Josh, Matt and Jake. Lovingly remembered by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Robert was born in Tillsonburg on November 30th, 1985.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Robert’s life will be held at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, St. Thomas on Friday at 1:30pm. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior from 12:30-1:30pm. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Addiction Research Foundation.

Carrington, Heather of St. Thomas, passed away at St. Thomas on Thursday, September 10th, 2015, at the age of 39. Dearly loved daughter of Elizabeth L. “Sue”(Chisholm) Carrington of London and Robert George Carrington and his wife Jan of Port Stanley. Dear sister of Robert A. Carrington and his wife Orn of Thailand and loved niece of Sharon O’Neil of St. Thomas. Dear granddaughter of Shirley Carrington of St. Thomas. Dear friend of Laura Caverly. She was born in London on March 31, 1976.

Westaway, Edward Daniel

The Westaway family, Sandra and Bud, Cynthia, Scott, Beth (Elizabeth), David and Patti, mourn the loss of Edward Daniel (Eddie) Westaway. We are thankful for the fleeting years in which Ed shared his sense of humour, artistic, mechanical and athletic abilities. We celebrate and honour Ed’s reunion pleased to reconnect with his Nova Scotia roots.
A celebration of Ed’s life will be held at his beloved Koshlong Lake in October. There, Ed demonstrated his expertise in building and repairing boats and motors, in catching fish and in carpentry.

Annett, Charles Ethridge Archie “Tony” of St. Thomas passed away peacefully at the L.H.S.C – Victoria Hospital on Friday, September 18th, 2015, in his 83rd year. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Joan Marlene (Dawdy) Annett and loved father of Danny Annett (Sandra), Dana Annett (Mark), Lance Annett, and Carla Kennedy (John). Cherished grandpa of Kelly, Laurie, Michelle, Tyler, Bradley, Cassara, Kendra and Madelyn and great-grandpa of Samuel and Sawyer. Predeceased by his brother Harold Annett. He will be lovingly remembered by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Tony was born in Lawrence Station on January 1st, 1933, son of the late Charles and Winona (Styles) Annett. He was retired from Ford Motor Co, Talbotville. Tony was an avid sportsfan, Optimist Club member and enjoyed being a part of the West Lorne Lunch Club.

Parker, Reta Beatrice
Parker, Reta Beatrice of St. Thomas passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Friday, September 11th, 2015, in her 76th year. Dearly loved daughter of the late Melburn and Mary (Shelly) Parker. Reta was predeceased by her siblings Robert (Ruby) Parker, Vera Dunn, and Paul Parker. She will be lovingly remembered by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends. Reta was born in Yarmouth Township on May 25th, 1940. She worked in tobacco for many years and as an assistant cook at the Empire Hotel.
