Suddenly at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010, in her 95th year.

Beloved wife of the late Frank. Loving mother of Donna Lapanne, Theresa Babcooke (late Howard), Doreen Cook (Bob), Jean Fox (Ken), Margaret LeBlanc (Bill), Frank Lapanne and Mary Wellbanks (David). Grandmother of many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. “Connie” will be sadly missed by her many pets.

Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) for visitation on Monday, June 28th from 12 noon until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 1:00 P.M. Memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Durham Humane Society would be appreciated.

Beloved husband of Jewel (nee Vivian). Dear father of Bill Jr. and Karen & her husband Ken Sherwood. Loving grandpa of Jeff and Jesse. Dear brother of Edith Bentley and Lou Lyle. Predeceased by his siblings Marion, Tom, Mary, Alex, Lucy, Doris, John & Barb. Lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and dear friends. He will be sadly missed by his faithful companions, Bailey & Abby.

Visitation will be held at THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Friday June 25th, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.

At Bill’s request, no Funeral Service will be held.

(Retired Staff Inspector Toronto Police Service)

Passed away at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa after a courageous battle with cancer.

Ernie is survived by his wife of 41 years, Frances. Beloved Father of Ernest and Stephen and Grandfather to Stephen's children Kyla and Connor. He will be loved and remembered by his sisters Agnes and Evelyn and his brother Jimmy.

He made a difference and will be loved and remembered by all who knew him.

Resting at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 5295 Thickson Rd. N Whitby (905-655-3662) from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, June 24. Funeral service in the chapel Friday afternoon June 25 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.

If desired memorial donations to the R.S. McLaughlin Cancer Center would be appreciated by the family.

COX, Edward Blake -

WWII Veteran Retired General Motors Employee Passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, June 21, 2010 surrounded by the care and love of his family in his 88th year.

Son of the late Elsie and Everett Cox. Beloved husband of the late Joan Cox and Wanda McNeil. Loving father of Terry and Kim, Wendy and Mike Fair, Stephen and his dog Dillon, Lori and Mike Collinson and the late Sheila Allair. Proud grandfather of Michelle and Ken Bourque, Andrea and Fabian Mugny, Lindsey and Blake Cox, Haley Collinson and Debbie and Danny Allair. Cherished brother of Herman, Ruby Smith, Eva Gibson and Carol Dunbar and brother- in-law of Stan Shortt. Predeceased by sisters Mary Bird, Vera Shortt and Pearl Bird and brothers Lloyd and Doug.

Ed's famly had the good fortune of having him home for Father's Day and to share one last toast of his favourite Scotch.

The family wishes to thank Dr. F. Fung, Dr. Bay and nurse Carmen of CCU and workers of St. Elizabeth especially Samantha and Pena for their special compassionate care.

Friends may visit at the MOUNT LAWN RECEPTION CENTRE, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby, 905-443-3376, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Funeral Service in the chapel on Thursday at 2 p.m. Interment Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Entered into rest at the Bon Air Nursing Home in Cannington on Monday, June 21, 2010.

Elizabeth Sarah Todd, formerly of Burk's Falls and Kleinburg, late of Sunderland in her 94th year, was the beloved wife of the late Donald Arthur Donneral (1996). Loving mother of Bruce (Pat) Donneral, Wayne (Charlene) Donneral, Gilbert (Gloria) Donneral and Allan (predeceased 2005). Dearly remembered by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by four brothers.

Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw St. S., in Cannington on Thursday, June 24, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Cannington Chapel at 1:00 p.m.

Beloved wife of the late Guy LaHaye. Daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Ann Dolan. Friend of Maurice Tanguay of Oshawa. Loving mother of Len and his wife Kathy, Doreen and her husband Dave Balneaves, Debby and her husband Gary Murphy. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Jenny, Amy, Nicole, Kenny, Courtney, Kyle, Chad, Guy and Emma. Great grandma to Nathan, Brianna, Riley. Sister of the late Wilbert, Viola, Nelson, Cecil, Ivor, Evan and Alvin. Survived by brothers Ernest and Francis and sister Joan. Cremation has taken place.

Memorial service will be held at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, on Thursday June 24, 2010. Visitation will start at 6:30pm with the memorial service to be held at 7:30pm, a reception will follow the memorial service.

Suddenly at Buttonville on Sunday, June 20th, 2010 at the age of 23.

Beloved son of Dianne and Glenn Archer of Whitby. Loving brother of Kate Archer and her fiancé Andrew Beath, Peter Archer and his fiancé Samantha Lewer and William Archer. Andy will be lovingly remembered by Paige Marlow. Dear nephew of Edward Kightley, Bonnie Williams, Susan Smiley, Allan Kightley, Marlene Gough (Edward), Robert Archer (Marisa), and the late Richard Archer. Survived by his many cousins, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Fred Buldyke with whom she shared over 50 years of marriage. Cherished mother of Marie Boucher (Norm), Shirley Cowle (Jerry), Diane Matheson (Lloyd), and John Buldyke (Dana). A devoted grandmother, she will be sadly missed by her 8 grandchildren, Jeff Cowle (Chris), Julie Fairbairn (Chris), Joe Matheson (Sara), Lisa Hedley (Jon), Scott Matheson (Kirsten), Rob Matheson (Liz), Shelby Buldyke and Shannen Buldyke, as well as by her 10 dearly loved great grandchildren.

A special thank you to the wonderful care providers and staff at Caressant Care, McLaughlin Road, Lindsay for their compassion and kindness.

Passed away peacefully on June 20, 2010 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s.

Loving mother of Mary Beth, Catie (Chris Miller), Amy (Greg Smith) and loving grandmother to Sierra, Cole and Ronan. Survived by brothers Don, Doug, Bob and Greg. Sadly missed by other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held at the W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby 905-668-3410 on Tuesday June 22, 2010 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm (Prayers at 7:30 pm).

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST CHURCH 903 Giffard St, Whitby on Wednesday at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.

Beloved husband of the late Betty (nee Bradley). Loving father of Lynne and her husband Mike Jespersen and Alan Jespersen. Dear grandpa to Bradley and his wife Nickole Brant-Glover and Dayne Jespersen and great-grandpa to Ainsley and Arwen. Survived by his sister Elinor Vipond of Brooklin and predeceased by his brother Jeff Jespersen. Fondly remembered by Dorcas Bradley.

(31 year General Motors Employee) - Peacefully at North York Hospital on June 20, 2010 at the age of 61. Born March 4, 1949 in Oshawa Ont.

Beloved son of the late Ben & Betty Mitchell. Loving Husband of 42 years to Shirley (Cooper), Dad to Richard (Ricky) and the late William Jr. (Bill Boy).

Poppa to the love of his life Kaja & special daughter in law Selene.

Brother and best friend to Pauline Bell (Late Slim & Denny), Patricia Cameron (Doug), Jim Mitchell (Gayle) and the late Ben Jr. (Butch).

He was loved and will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

As per Bill's wishes, there will be no service.

Cremation has taken place.
