LEONARD, Brent Kenneth Madill

Suddenly on Monday, June 14th, 2010 in Ottawa, Ontario at the age of 26 years.

Beloved son of Karyn and Ken Leonard and loving partner of Kim Malarczuk. Precious brother of Devyn and her fiancé Sundeep. Treasured grandson of Beth and the late Galvin Madill, and the late Esther and Clayton Leonard. Dear nephew to Kevin and Shari, and cousin Meagan Madill, Marianne and Don, Victor and Barbara, Arthur, Linda, Aldon, Richard and Rosemary, Doris and David, Debbie and Glenn, Bruce and Brenda, Gayle and Clem, Joy and Terry. Brent will also be very sadly missed by his many many cousins as well as his many friends and his best buddy Sterling.

Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) for visitation on Friday, June 18th from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 P.M.

Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, June 19th at 11:00 A.M. Interment to follow at Thornton Cemetery.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to the SickKids Foundation or St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Oshawa.

Beloved husband of Etelka (nee Barta). Loving father of Eva Szucs and her husband Peter Kalina, Etelka and her husband Lesley Barnay and Agnes and her husband Robert Chamberlain. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren John (Cindy), Ryan, Michael and Robert and Lianna and great-grandson CJ.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects at McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King Street East, Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.

A service will be held in the chapel on Friday, June 18, 2010 at 1:00 pm. Interment Thornton Cemetery.

CAMPBELL, Daisy (nee Weatherall) -

Age 94 years. Peacefully passed away at Hillsdale Terraces, Oshawa, on Sunday June 13, 2010.

Beloved wife of the late Jack Campbell. Dear mother of Fred (Cheryl) Campbell; Bonnie Campbell; Bob (Sisi) Campbell. Loving grandmother of Sarah, Greg, Peter, Carly, Meg, Riley and Grant. Survived by her sister Marjorie Davies. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be fondly remembered for her generous nature.

A Private Memorial Gathering will be held. Cremation.

Memorial Donations may be made to the Hospital for Sick Children through THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville, with whom the arrangements have been entrusted.

Peacefully at Strathaven Retirement Centre on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at the age of 75 years.

Dorene (nee: Allin) beloved wife of the late Lloyd Norman Hayes. Loved mother of Gary Hayes and his friend Ron, Randy and his wife Shelley, Barbara and her husband Joe Werheid. Loving grandmother of Michelle Rendell (Clayton), Lloyd, Amber and Dylan, great-grandmother of Bailee and Cole. Dear sister of the late Beverley Kimmerly, Cyril Allin and Lloyd Allin.

Cherished dad of Michelle (Dan) Nasello of Brooklin, Todd Hicks of Vancouver B.C., Wade Hicks (Lori) of Hawkesbury, Ont, Todd Blair (Judy) of Oshawa and Sheryl (Bob) O’Rourke. Adored poppie of Krystal and Alysha Nasello, Diane, Andrew and Nick Anderson. Dear brother of Betty (Clarence) Wheaton of Midgic N.B., Vaughan (Norma) Hicks of Sackville N.B. and Charlotte Estabrooks of Sackville N.B. Predeceased by sister Phyllis Wry, Horace Wry and Carmen Estabrooks. Brother-in-law to Ann (the late Errol) Webster of Oshawa, Lois Philpott of London, Max Webster of Kirkland Lake, Alvin (Carol) Webster of Uxbridge and Bette Lou Webster of Lindsay. Predeceased by nephew David Webster. Survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

LABRIOLA, Anna (nee Volpe)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Anna Labriola at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at the age of 56. Loving wife of Luigi Labriola for 37 years. Cherished mother of Lena and Anthony (Lisa) and proud grandmother of Erica and Nathan.

Dear sister of Stella Riccio (Edigio), Larry Volpe (Rosemary), John Volpe (Rita), Tony Volpe (Sharaine) and sister–in-law of Stella Labriola. Daughter of the late Incoronata Volpe (March 21, 2010) and the late Vincenzo Volpe (December 6, 2006) and daughter-in-law of Oreste and Carmela Labriola. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Anna’s family will welcome relatives and friends at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 19th at 10:30 a.m. in St. Therese Roman Catholic Church, 3800 Courtice Road, Courtice. Vigil prayers will be held on Friday at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by her family.

LALONDE, Gordon James -

Passed away suddenly at the cottage on June 13, 2010.

Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Doolittle). Caring father of Geoffrey. Loving son of Audrey and son-in-law of Edith Doolittle. Predeceased by his father John and his sister Joan. Uncle Gordy will be greatly missed by his nieces Jaclyn, Kathryn and Christyne, his brother-in-law Bill Stephenson, his extended family, many friends and co-workers.

A funeral service will be held at St. George's Anglican Church, 19 Randall Dr. (Randall and Hwy. 2), Ajax on Friday, June 18, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior at the church. Interment St. Paul's Columbus Cemetery, Columbus (Columbus and Thornton).

If so desired, donations to The Hospital for Sick Children would be greatly appreciated.

MANSFIELD, Jack Lawrence -

Suddenly at his Blackstock home in his sleep, Jack went from an earthly dream to a heavenly one.

Born in Toronto, September 27, 1936, died June 13, 2010.

Jack is survived by his wife Pam, his sons Steve and Scott, his stepchildren Tom and Dayle, as well as his 13 grandchildren Samantha, Cassie and Sabrina, Jackson and Annie and Justin and Peyton and Olivia, Chloe and Evan and Megan, Mikayla and Cody. Jack was a sweet man who was loved by all his family, friends, clients and vendors. He will be missed.

Visitation at St. John's Anglican Church, Bowmanville from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., June 22, 2010. Funeral Service 10:30 a.m.

VERNETT, Mary Margaret (nee Clark) –

Peacefully on Sunday June 13, 2010 at Hillsdale Terraces, Oshawa at the age of 84.

Mary, beloved wife of Edvic Desmond Vernett. Mother of Tom French, Glen French, and Dave French.

VIENNEAU, Jerry

January 31st, 1927 ~ June 13th, 2010 Passed away peacefully at Thorntonview Long Term Care, at the age of 83.

Beloved husband of Paula Vienneau. He will be sadly missed by his 11 children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered by his four brothers and three sisters, extended family and friends.

A special thanks to everyone at the Thorntonview Long Term Care for their loving care and compassion.

Loving mother of Douglas and Kenneth. Dear grandmother of Tanner, Reana and Logan. Sadly missed by her sisters Doreen, Lynn, Wendy and by her brother Ken. Predeceased by her brother Harvey. Sadly missed by her best friend and soulmate Warren McLean.

Many thanks to the staff and residents at Fudgerhouse for their care and compassion.

At Audrey’s request cremation and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
