Retired employee of General Motors. Veteran of WW11, Member of Oshawa Masonic Lodge, Member of Royal Canadian Legion Oshawa. Passed away at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on Tuesday, June 28, 2005, in his 88th year. Milton beloved husband of the late Treva Steeves, loving companion of Dorothy Jones. Loving father of Janet and her husband Sheldon Smith, Gail and her husband Ben Crawford. He will be remembered by Fred and Shirley Jones. Loving uncle of Donna and John Dallas. Dear grandfather of Tina and Jamie Lee, Jennifer Smith, Jason and Shelly Smith, Michelle and Mitch McKay, Danielle and Greg Cantin, and predeceased by Terra Lynn Smith. He will be sadly missed by his three step children and his eight great grandchildren. He will be remembered by his sisters Bernita Clarke of New Brunswick and Bernice Loudfoot of British Columbia.

(Women's Royal Canadian Naval Service 1943 - 46 on the HMCS Cornwallis and Peregrine in Halifax, NS, Member of the Boulevard Club for 40 years winning numerous trophies for Badminton and Tennis) Peacefully, on Monday, June 27, 2005 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, after celebrating her 90th birthday on June 10th. Loved daughter of the late Winnifred and Thomas Hopkins. Dear sister of Sydney Hopkins of Oshawa, and Derek Hopkins and his wife Kay of Courtice. Much loved aunt of Lisa, Susan and Deborah Hopkins, Judith Robinson, Janet Booker and Margaret Doe. Loved daughter of late Margaret and Eric Burton. She has gone home to be with her Lord and Saviour after a lengthy, courageous battle with cancer on June 27, 2005. Loving grandmother of nine and great grandmother of eight.
