Suddenly on Wednesday August 31, 2005 at his home in Oshawa in his 57th year. Robert, beloved son of Maria Wnuk, and the late Walter Wnuk (1997). Beloved father of Lisa and Jessica Wnuk. Dear brother of Jean Dodsworth (Rick), Marilyn Moffatt (Paul), Annie Bryant (Brad), and Sylvia Dupuis (Clyde). Loved uncle of Jennifer Means (Jim), Ryan Moffatt (Sarah), Nick Moffatt (Sarah), and Andrew and Danielle Dupius, and great uncle of Ethan Moffatt. Robert will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends here in Canada and in Ukraine. Passed away peacefully on August 30, 2005, at Community Nursing Home, Pickering, after a long battle with cancer. Dorothy May Walters, wife of 52 years of the late Frederick Franklin "Frank" Benham. Mother of Donna, Carol and her husband Craig Bamford, and the late Gary "Benjy". Sister of Madeleine Riddell and the late Thelma Jackson. In keeping with Dorothy's wishes, no service will be held. Family will receive friends at 528 Marksbury Road, Pickering, on Friday, September 2, 2005, from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. The family would like to thank Dr. Tanius and the staff at Community Nursing Home for their care and devotion during her illness.

After a courageous battle with cancer, on Tuesday, August 30, 2005, at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville in her 58th year. Loving wife of Alistair (Al) Ross of Courtice. Forever loved and missed by her children Mark Leduke and his wife Sandra of Barrie, Robert Leduke and his wife Sylvia of Germany, Gary Leduke and his wife Nancy Dow of Oakville, Heather Ormonde and her husband Steve of Oshawa, and Danny Ross of Ajax. Greatly missed by grandchildren Devin, Natasha, Emely, Brittany, Alexander, Alexandra, and Ethan. Suddenly, as the result of an auto accident on Monday, August 29, 2005. John Guenin, age 72. John was the beloved husband of Dianne of Uxbridge. Loving father of Florence (Matt) Driscoll of Texas, Cathy (James) Anderson of Oshawa, Remy (Stephanie) Guenin of Virginia, Denean (Philippe) Sabot of Oshawa, Debbie (Joe) Pavljuk of Oshawa and Glen Alberastine of Toronto. Dearly remembered by one brother Dr. Patrick (Dany) Guenin of France; four grandchildren, Eric and Sophie Anderson, Nadia Sabot and Hannah Guenin. On August 29th, 2005, Jim passed away from leukemia, in his 76th year. He was the son of the late Roy and Marion Lavis. Fondly remembered by his sister, Eleanor Witterick and her husband Leonard, and nephews, David (Sandra), Paul (Alexandra), and John (Cheryl), and great-nieces Lauren, Danielle, Megan, Abby and Madison. 1936-2005. James Pappas of Riverview, passed away at Dr. George L. Dumont Hospital in Moncton on Monday, August 29, 2005 at the age of 68 years. Jim worked for 37 years as an employee for General Motors in Oshawa, Ontario. He is survived by his wife Pam (Lawrence);daughters Andrea Pappas, Thea (Jamie) Trenholm, Oshawa, Ont. stepsons Brian Moore, Mississauga Ont., David (Traci) Moore, Oshawa, Ont., sister Gloria (Allen) McGarrity, Riverview, brother Deno (Cathy) Pappas, Riverview, sister-in-law Diane (John) Platt, Carnarvon, Joan Inglis, Scarborough, Lois Pappas (the late George) and Patricia Pappas (the late Nicholas), Oshawa, Ont., also by four grandchildren. Besides his parents Gus Pappas and Clementine McKee, Jim was predeceased by brothers Peter, George and Nicholas Pappas.
