After a very brief battle with pancreatic cancer, peacefully with her family by her side at home on Saturday, August 27, 2005. Rose (nee Didych) in her 76th year. Dearly beloved wife of Donald Woods for 46 years. Loving mother of Cheryl Fleming and her husband Eric of Ottawa, Greg Woods of Oshawa, Lorraine Woods and her husband James Sarnovsky of Courtice, Jim Woods and his wife Patricia of Bowmanville, and Todd Woods and his wife Cristina of Courtice. Dear grandmother of Meghen, Melissa and Colleen Fleming, Casey, Blair and Jennafer Woods, John and Kellea DeMille, Carleigh and Brooklyn Sarnovsky, Mitchell and Riley Woods, Aaron, Alexandra and Emily Woods. Dear sister of Anne Armstrong of Whitby. Rose was a member of St. Gertrude's Catholic Womens' League.
